New car buyer

I put off getting a vehicle until I had to have one, mostly because I don't like being pressured into things. I am so glad to have stopped in at Fletcher KIA, the helpful and knowledgeable staff there made me feel welcomed which gave me the greatest shopping experience.

Satisfied customer?

Rob Ray was great to work with. He made the whole buying process enjoyable. Our daughter bought a Kia Sportage from Fletcher Kia about 7 months ago and highly recommended the dealership to us. If I know of anybody who is ready to car-shop, I will definitely refer them to Fletcher Kia.

Huge Lack of Integrity

After purchasing a used vehicle from the Honda side in order to build my credit, I come back one year later to get out of it as they had promised me would happen just to find out, its not. After dealing with the GM of both the Honda and Kia side along with multiple calls to the corporate office and them telling me that they are going to fix the issue and get me into a car that I am happy with, I find myself stuck with the car that was sold to me wrecked (front bumper broke in half and core support cracked in 3 places), high mileage and interest rate of 24%. $6500 financed is turning into $17k in the end, if I pay it out. This dealership clearly only cares about the "guaranteed customers" and enjoys screwing over the rest. The worst experience ever when it comes to anything I have purchased and I have promised them that I will never do business with them again.

DISGUSTED

DONT BUY FROM KIA!!!!! I called last night to make an appointment for oil change and detail. Had it there by 9am. Wasn't ready at 1:30. This was the second time I've had them do a detail and it wasn't done when I got back.first time wasn't done at all. The first time I left upset. Doug told me to come back an hed make sure it didn't happen again. Hed give me twenty n gas. (No gas money) Brenda was awful at trying to make me feel better. She told me she didn't want to talk about the past. She just walked away. I tried to call her back and got hung up on! I didn't even raise my voice. All's I can say is WOW!!!!!! LIES FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.

Worst customer service ever

My husband and I purchased a used 09 chevy traverse about two months ago. Since then we have had nothing but problems with the car and kia. To start it off after purchasing the car we had two horrible tires and nothing on the windshield wipers. We spent close to 600 to pay for this. Just to find out the next day the car never went through inspection. After bringing up the tires and windshield wipers with our receipt the dealership says there is nothing they will do to reimburse us. I asked them to show me a car on their lot that had crappy tires and wipers and of course this couldn't be done. We were also given a second key fob that for did not have a battery in it and two was burnt up. Of course we don't find this out until my keys got locked in the car and I'm paying to get it unlocked. They reimburse this by giving us a gas card. After long harsh words exchanged we now have white smoke blowing out of the car, the passenger back window won't roll down, and the brakes squeak horribly. Now kia refuses to help what do ever saying we were offered a warranty and refused when we were never offered one. Every one turns and walks the other way when we enter because no one has answers for their mistakes. Mind you the financial service guy I spoke with and the sales man no longer work there. I wonder why? I guess even when the general manager calls doug (the financial man) an idiot you figure out everyone up there is out to cover their own xxx. We are now getting a lawyer involved.

Disaster waiting to happen

Had issue with Kia while on vacation. Fletcher worked on the car to replace a sensor, In addition, multiple other items were suggested that supposedly needed to be done. Most of which did not need to be done or were already scheduled to be done back home. I did have the sensor and the brake fluid replaced because it was supposedly bad. I now question whether the brake fluid needed to be done or not, since I had just had all of the brakes replaced on the car 6 months earlier and no one mentioned a brake fluid issue. We were told on at least 2 occasions that the car would be ready by a certain time, each time we showed up, it was not completed, always some new issue and we were always told that they had tried to reach us, but we never received any calls and every time they made a test call to us the phone rang. Finally we were told the car would be ready by a certain time, but this time I received a call telling me the radiator needed to be replaced, it had been damaged while doing the other work on the car. We picked up the car and noticed a leak as soon as we got back to our hotel, 45 miles form the dealership. We checked what we could and drove the car 200 miles back home. Once home, I had some type of fluid all over the car and all over my driveway. I took the car to my local mechanic to determine what was leaking. When the radiator was replaced, the service dept. failed to tighten the lines from the radiator to the transmission. Transmission fluid was being pumped out all over everything, Cost me an additional $90.00 to repair the mistakes Frank Fletcher service had made in addition to the cost of services already done. I hope my transmission doesn't fail prematurely. If it does, I will definitely know why. I wouldn't recommend having any service work done at this dealership. Based on my experience, they don't seem to have a clue as to what they are doing.

I had two filters changed and fuel line flushed out. I timed it and it took less than 30 minutes to do, they charged me $123.00 for labor, and the parts were $100.00. I got prices at auto zone for the parts and I wasn't as unhappy with that as I was the labor charge. I will no be back to have any simple things like that done ever again.

We purchased a Kia Rio5 and brought it to our local dealer to have window cleaner hose fixed. The service manager was great and got us right in,and offered for us to use a car while waiting. Everyone was very friendly, the only problem we had was when it was fixed the mechanic had removed the wipers and did not get them back on right so had to make a return trip. Everyone makes mistakes and I feel they did us a good job. We will return.

Dealer response

Great news - Thank you for sharing. Kimberly Favazzo

I have no complaints with the vehicle we purchased. However, the level of customer service and general competency has been very disappointing. Our first indication that there might be a problem was that 3 of the 4 people we have worked with at the dealership said they had just started this job, some were within their first week. After our experience, I suspect there is a high turnover of employees in this dealership. We were also treated with a condescending attitude by the person who processed the sale. Honestly, I left the dealership feeling that it was a "shady" business and I might need to keep an eye on our credit score!
