I want buy a 1930 Ford Model A. I’m very honest person to buy the car from them guy refuses to start the car. Cars is not the same shape at the add thye mentioned. I not recommend any people buy car from them if you don’t know about the cars. You need to bring one person with you to inspect the vehicle. No recomendable.. That’s is my personal opinion

THANK YOU FOR WARNING ME!

actually, I did not even go - I saw an ad from them on craigslist for a 2007 Crysler Town and Country - it was listed as being in excellent condition. After reading the reviews about Martys, I went back and blew up the pictures of the 2007 Town and country, and I could see ( as others reported) rust spots that were covered up with paint! This is not a car in excellent condition! THE GUY ON THE PHONE DID NOT EVEN KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE CAR! I am so grateful for these people who wrote the reviews - 3/4 of them were a one-star rating! Thank you people for warning us "would be" buyers about the dishonest way they do business at Marty's!

Shady

Just bought a Ford Edge and the next day had it into our mechanic. Making a horrible sound. (Which did not happen on my 15 minute test drive) Engine light came on the following day like a code was cleared before test driving it. Doors were unlocked when we test drove it. None of the key fobs worked (which we should have tested be assumed worked). Was sent down the road for financing and was charged almost $1000 for another dealer to do the financing. (Which we found out once we arrived and had already signed our title for trade in). Was told credit score over 800 6.48 interest was the best they could do. Ready to walk out now. They reduced the fee to $400 and found a bank with 3.48 interest. All so very shady!!

Deceptive, trying to hide things

I would not say anything good about this dealership. They had a white 2010 equinox advertised and stated it was in excellent condition, the pictures they had looked nice. I drove for over an hour to see it, and there was a big tear in the seat, they angled the camera around it so you couldn't see it. to make matters worse there was a big area behind the passengers side that was rusted through and they spray painted it white and also spray painted on the other side. You could still smell the paint so you know that was fresh. Barry said they had just got that car in that morning from a dealership and did nothing to it.

Great buying experience.

Salesman Randy made getting my new vehicle a pleasure. Third family member to be a satisfied customer of Marty's. Would definitely look there first if I were vehicle shopping again.

STAY AWAY!

Ten degrees below zero and had to stand outside. Car was missing spare tire and jack. Salesman said that was my problem. Car shook at speed. Salesman skirted around questions about how it got to their dealership. Dealership couldn't evaluate trade because boss wasn't working that day.

DO NOT GO HERE

PLEASE READ: Barry is untrustworthy and doesn’t respect his costumers. I am a active duty member for the Air Force and I rely on my vehicle for work. I bought a used 2010 Chevy Equinox LTZ with about 130,000 miles when I bought in it July 2020. When I initially bought the car I did all the necessary steps to make sure it passed CARFAX qualification, it wasn’t in any car crashes, didn’t have any major repairs and didn’t have any rust or other unwanted quality’s. After the test drive I could tell that there was a wheel alignment or a ball joint issue, so I talked down the price and got it at a fair deal. I drove that puppy for about a 1 MONTH until the sunroof started to leak water throughout my car out only to find out that they sold me a vehicle with the seal completely broken. I thought “hey whatever it’s used car sh*t happens.” After I got the “gutters” (idk the exact term) cleaned out and replaced my sun roof seal, Minneapolis had a huge storm and somehow MORE water was finding its way into my vehicle causing the seat warmers to go out. Now I’m getting pretty discouraged and I contact Marty’s Auto Shop, they told me that there is nothing they can do. I cooled down and realized “hey it’s whatever it’s a used car sh*t happens.” Then November rolls by, I’m driving to Brainerd for holidays and all of a sudden my car made a weird noise and it seemed like major technology glitch happened. I pull over and go to restart it and it was barely turning over...I’m DEVASTATED. I didn’t wanna force it on because Equinox’s have oil problems and I didn’t want to blow the engine. To sum up the whole experience, I bring it to a mechanic and he tells me my rear main seal is broken (fixable just at a hefty price because of the labor). After he fixes the seal he realizes it’s still not getting enough power so he investigates only to inform me that the timing is off because there are fault parts placed throughout it...aka I have to REPLACE THE WHOLE ENGINE. I again call and specifically talk to Barry asking for any type of help since I just bought this vehicle in July and I needed a vehicle for work. Word for word Barry says “I’m sorry but we sell our vehicles as is”. So they are telling me that they check NOTHING and just slap a price on their cars and don’t actually verify or confirm the status of the vehicle. As I said before I am an active duty member for the Air Force, so I work with A LOT of respectable and trustworthy business men/women. From this I know how a business is suppose to VALUE their customs and disclose the fact that they don’t VALIDATE their vehicles. As you can clearly see Marty’s auto shop, specifically Barry, are NOT reliable, NOT respectable, or NOT trustworthy. Moral of the story: DO NOT GO HERE!
