Liars & thieves. Bait & switch. They treat customers like they are stupid. They charge more than any other Hyundai dealership for a deposit. Four times as much. If you want to get robbed and lied to at every turn, shop here. If you want a fair deal, RUN to another dealership. They do not care about you at all. They will try to squeeze every dime out of you. It's like dealing with a bunch of greedy children. DO NOT TRUST THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS. This place is shady beyond belief.

Most fun we've had buying a car in quite some time
I was recently walking Rt 60 new car lot, looking for a specific color Sante Fe, when one of their sales persons approached me; asking if he could provide assistance or address any concerns I might have. I immediately found Damon to be a very knowledgeable, professional and a friendly representative of Rt 60 Hyundai. I was further impressed when he shared that the dealership was Family Owned AND he frequently promised "total transparency" throughout our interactions. Damon cheerfully answered or addressed all our questions and concerns to include his attentive, genuine people skills as we progressed through the buying process. He offered to Dealer Exchange (DX) a car from another dealership, and that we would receive our car within 24-48 hours. In lieu of pushing an alternative car on the lot or waiting for an incoming unit. Damon stayed with us throughout the total buying process; representing Rt 60 Hyundai with professionalism AND genuine desire to ensure we were happy with our purchase. Miss Sue, as the greeter, was very friendly and cordial and made us feel that she was happy we had come to "her" dealership. Brent (Sales Manager) was also very friendly as we coordinated the purchase price and financial information; even suggesting alternative payment options to buy our car, ensuring we were comfortable with the associated costs. Mike (Financial Manager) was very cordial, outgoing and we actually enjoyed our time with him; as opposed to the "usual" quiet, reserved interactions with previous Financial Personnel. Mike explained every aspect of our buying process, reminding us of the intrinsic benefits of buying a car from Rt 60 Hyundai. In summation, I initially thought I would use a more convenient dealership for our car's servicing. But, we decided we would gladly drive a little bit further for the much more comfortable, friendly buying experience at Rt 60 Hyundai. Again, thanks in no small part to Damon's genuine cordiality, excellent people skills and his professional knowledge. One more point - the subsequent "customer satisfaction" survey included several questions about transparency.

Don’t be scammed by Route 60 Hyundai
I wanted to pass on my bad experience trying to purchase an automobile at Route 60 Hyundai. I was interested in purchasing a new 2022 Tucson Hybrid which had an MSRP of $38,345. Today’s automobile market, the way it is with automobile shortages due to computer chips, the dealer has marked up the price nearly $10,000 on a second dealer added window sticker. There was a market adjustment amount and a dealer fees amount that made the final price $46,635. I understand the economics of the market and even with that being said I think it’s a bit excessive to the point of price gouging. When they gave me their best price they were very generous to give me a $1,297 discount for a final price of $45,338. What a deal! But what really was upsetting is the scam they tried to pull when they offered me a lease price for the vehicle. I’ve been leasing vehicles for over 20 years. I was a financial manager before I retired and understand how to calculate a lease price using the MSRP, the negotiated price, the money factor and the residual price. Anyone can find a lease calculator online to double check the dealer. So the lease price that I was given at the dealership was $200/mo. more than it should have been based on the numbers they gave me. When a lease price is overstated by $200/mo. that’s equivalent to adding $8,000 to the sales price. That was a lease price for $790/mo. This put the vehicle cost at about $53,338 for a Hyundai with a MSRP of $38,345. I just wanted to pass this along to my friends and neighbors. I think that Route 60 Hyundai is a low volume, high profit per vehicle type dealership because they don’t have any nearby Hyundai competition. My advice if you want a Hyundai is go to a high volume honest dealership. Route 60 Hyundai is outright scamming people.

Horrible, HORRIBLE! RUN don't walk!
If we could give a -10 review we would. My husband and I just called to ask about a car. We live over 3 hours away. We were told that the associate was not willing to walk onto the lot to find out the mark-up price (as we are in crazy car times currently). The associate suggested we drive 3+ hours to negotiate the price of the vehicle. I am in sales. Real estate for over 21+ years. I don't care what business you're in, that is just laziness. We then called back to speak to a manager. We were given a man named "Fred". Fred stated that they are saving their inventory for local customers and that in fact, their markup is $12,500 for the particular vehicle we were interested in. Hey Fred, could have saved yourself a ton of time and bad review had your associate just answered the question, to begin with. It's great when the fish are jumping in the boat but don't treat people like they are "less than" because you're too lazy to do your job. Also, I'm fairly confident FRED isn't a manager. Either way, bad customer service will never serve you well in the long term. And if your management team truly reads these reviews, they would want to know that they just lost out on a potential $50k sale. Also, If you're still reading this, go to Hyundai of New Port Richey. They sell everything at MRSP AND are clear on their prices. They just got a sale and a customer for life.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE
Monique Clark was there for me every step of the way! I couldn’t be more happy with the service provided and her knowledge of the Elantra. She was absolutely wonderful and I could not be happier. My car has been a perfect fit for everything that I wanted and hoped for and I recommend anyone to Route 60 Hyundai! Juan "JJ" Salazar came to Port St. Lucie to deliver my car. He is the best for taking his time to come all the way to PSL. The paperwork was done quickly in the comfort of my home.

The staff are very polite and Jeremy Brown is the best window tint person and I will tell my friends and family to see him when they want their windows done

Great Service
On this occasion I did something I normally never do, I asked if they could hurry my service recall work (brake module), because my wife needed me to take her to a medical appointment. The service manager said he couldn't make any promises but would talk to the mechanics and see what they could do. The car came back sooner than expected, and I was very appreciative of the all around effort!
