Superior Experience AFTER I bought my car.
Many accolades and kudos to Mike Vanderplow (General Manager) Russell Siemers, (Service Manager) Mark Hronek (Body Shop Manager) & Roy Van Liere (Sales Consultant) at Preferred in Grand Haven for their attention to detail & superior customer service. Each one of them went above and beyond to make my car buying experience a good one. Mike Vanderplow really came through for me after I bought my minivan. I bought a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country that had some minor issues and he took care of them without a hassel. I really appreciate that! I highly recommend Preferred Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram if you are thinking of buying a car. You will not be disappointed! Here's my story: New Year's Eve of last year (2014) I purchased a 2012 Equinox from Preferred Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Grand Haven, Mi. I downsized from a minivan thinking I no longer needed such a large vehicle. I drove the Equinox for 6 months. It was a great driving car but, I found it was much too small for my needs. In the spring I began searching for another minivan. As luck would have it, I found exactly the car I was looking for...a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country...at Grand Haven Preferred dealership. The same place I bought my Equinox. What are the odds? So, I emailed Roy VanLiere, the salesman who sold me the Equinox, to see if the minivan was still available. It was on another Preferred lot so, he brought it to his lot for me to look at it. I took it for a test drive, and on July 1, 2015 I decided to trade in my Equinox and bought the van. Mike Vanderplow, the General Manager, agreed to have his body shop repair the nicks and a significant sized chip in the paint on the door and have his service department balance the front wheels. I was pleased with his cooperation and willingness to get the van in tip top shape for me. When I returned, another day, Mike told me if they only clear coated the nicks it would look polka-dotted. So,he was going to have his body shop completely repaint the entire hood. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise!! He knew I would not be happy with the polka-dotted look so, at his expense, he told Mark Hronek to refinish the hood. The chip on the door blistered so, Mike has agreeded to fix that, as well. Ten days later I found water on the carpet on the passenger side of my van. I, also, heard some noises that weren't normal. I brought this to Mike Vanderplow's attention and he had his service department repair the leak in the air conditioner line. I asked to have a mechanic ride with me in the car to check out the noises. The Service Manager, Russell Siemers, readily agreed to ride along and he shared what he heard with a mechanic. Russ, personally, took the time to oversee that everything was properly taken care of; he communicated with the mechanics, took test drives with them and explained to me what they did. It turned out to be nothing serious, but they took care of it and that gave me peace of mind.

Friendly, helpful, not pushy, relaxed atmosphere
I went to the dealer in response to a promo. It turned out it did not really apply to my high mileage vehicle but because of the great sales atmosphere and offer that they could make to me I left with a lease on a new vehicle anyway. I am tickled about the whole thing.

Purchasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee

Highly recommend this dealer . They were awesome!!
Preferred Chrysler Dodge in Grand Haven really went over and above the usual dealerships I've been to. They explained the lease process in great detail and I wasn't confused about it when I left. They located the car I wanted and gave me calculations on price with down payment etc. Buck Rogers was an great sales consultant and always had time for my questions. I didn't feel pressured when I left the building. Mike in financing was also great. I had a great experience here buying my first brand new car and I will definitely purchase from here again, even though this dealer is about 1 hour away! I suggest anyone out there looking for new car to check this place out ASAP!

Awesome place to buy!!!
