This dealership is an absolute joke.

This dealership is an absolute joke. We purchased a used vehicle and they have been nothing but a headache and shady with their business practices. First off, their used car manager lost the second key to the car we were buying, not a huge deal. They also told us there was a second key the first time we saw the car. But they found it a week after we took the car home (we live far away and did not want to drive back for their mistake). They initially refused to mail it to us, then after talking they insisted that we have to pay for them to mail it due to their screw up. We asked for the second key when we were there and they didn't have it. I don't see how it's our responsibility to pay for this. They also mentioned that we should be grateful that they even found the key. They eventually agree to mail it to us but found a sneaky way to charge us the fee. They subtracted it from the DMV refund they owed us and probably hoped we wouldn't notice. Well we did. This is the absolute worst dealership experience I have ever had and I will never recommend anyone ever do business with these shady clowns. The money was never the issue, but it was the fact that they screwed up and found every possible way to make us pay for their mistake.

Ketan Patel was the salesman who helped us in selecting

Ketan Patel was the salesman who helped us in selecting our Honda Accord that we ended up purchasing. He worked with us and was not aggressive. He was very patient in allowing us to make our own decision. His behavior/attitude had a lot to do with our decision to buy a car from Open Road Honda—Edison. He remained with us throughout the entire process. If you are in the market for a Honda, please go to Open Road and ask for Ketan. I have no doubt you will be as pleased with his service as we were. Thank you Ketan. We love our car!

I’ve bought two Hondas (new) from Open Road at different locations since 2013. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Open Road, they are consistent - they provide horrible service and their sales tactics are sleazy (not only based on my experience, but from others I’ve referred). Not to mention, both Hondas (Fit and SI) had leaking issues from the ceiling. Both of which they told me was my problem. So much for realiability. The only upside was the MPGs were good. After being a Honda customer for 10+ years, I’m glad I made the switch to Tesla. TLDR: Buy somewhere else, and you’re probably better off buying a different brand.

Horrible service!

Horrible service! I purchased my vehicle in September of 2023 and I have yet to receive my plates. I am driving around with temp tags that are expired. I was in touch with John Nguyen who stated he was going to assist me but has yet to answer my calls as well as my emails. The gentleman by the name of “Fats” sold me the vehicle and he has been no help as well. Looks like I will be making another trip up to this dealership to try and get my plates.

Shocking

Took my Accord in for service and had to wait 2.5 hours for oil change but I expected that. Once home I opened the hood and was shocked to discover the cap on the brake fluid reservoir was not tightened and the straps on the air filter assembly were not fastened. I was not expecting that.

Dealer response

Hello Tom, We're sorry for any inconvenience you faced during your recent service visit. Your time is valuable, and waiting longer than expected is never ideal. We're investigating what might have caused the delay, as well as the oversight with the brake fluid cap and air filter assembly. Your safety is a top priority, and we're committed to addressing these concerns to prevent any recurrence. Please reach out to us directly so we can discuss this further and ensure your satisfaction. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Unethical car deal….. stay away!

I contacted this dealer with no intention of trying to decrease their asking price on a CPO car. When the invoice was sent to me there were many added fees they added. Their so called “ Aftermarket’s” totaled a whopping $2,489.00!! Their doc fee is $799 plus the “total license fee” is $300! They wouldn’t budge on the doc fee. They also dropped the “aftermarket’s” down to $1,295 and wouldn’t budge on that. I had the deposit ready if they removed the unnecessary fees so there was no sale. The salesperson continued to try and get me to pay for the resistall spray coating and the anti theft wheels stating that I “ need” them. This is not an honest or ethical dealer and I would not recommend dealing with them.
