Please be aware of this dealership!
Please be aware of this dealership!!!! These people are scammers and I can’t believe they are getting away with this. Initially, I drove for an hour to check a car they had available online. Upon arrival, I was informed the car was sold (which they did not update online). So I decided to check a MDX base trim that was available for a decent price which was listed for about 34k. I sat with Lawrence (new car director) to which we agreed on a number for my trade and a monthly payment plan. Then I met with Romney (finance department) to finalize the deal and this is where the nightmare starts. He explained the following packages; such as nitrofill for the tire protection, roadside assistance ($399), permaplate for appearance protection only for 1 year( $995), Etch ($499), gap insurance ($1200), and extended warranty ($3097). I informed Romney( finance) that I’m only interested in gap insurance and extended warranty but he wanted me to add the other packages as well. He spent a long time trying to convinced me. I explained it to him that I work remotely and I also have another car so there is no need for other packages. Again, he still trying to convince me to get the other packages. At the end, I thought we agreed on just the care gap and extended warranty. Papers were signed and a flash drive was given to me with my contract in it. I wanted to review my contract right away because it did not make sense at all on how I purchased a car that cost 34k with a trade in, and Im at 40k out the door. Once I finally was able to go over the contract, I was in disbelief as he added ALL OF THE PACKAGES THAT I DID NOT AGREE UPON TO THE TOTAL AMOUNT of the car as if i purchased the car for 37k and not 34k so it won’t be too noticeable. The contract was a mess. It was not consistent with the numbers. The car was also listed as certified online, some pages in the contract says used and some says certified. When I asked him while I was at the dealership, he said it was certified. And per carfax, VIN glass etching (ETCH fee) was done 3/23/2021 so why I was charged for something that was done back in 2021 and if my care get stolen i have both full coverage and care gap. I was told the warranty was for 5years or 100k miles; which ever comes first, BUT the contract states it will be expired 2028 which only a total of 3 years from the day of purchase. I purchased the car on Saturday and went back on Monday to dispute those charges. I spoke to Fred ( sale) who advised me to speak to Lawrence ( new car director) then who advised me to speak to Romney( finance ). You could feel the energy on that day was off. I had a sat down with Romney who said he already sent the application to the bank and basically there is nothing that he can do. I didn’t believe this at all. He told me try to get your money worth by destroying the leather seat and have them repair it within one year before the contract expired. Nothing was resolved that day. I also dispute the extended warranty and i was informed the warranty starts from the day of first service which was 2021 so I only have 3 years left which was not fully explained to me before. I was giving the intention that I was covered for an additional 5years from the day of my purchase not the day of the car first service which was 2021. I sent an email to the sale manager Jay and yet to get an answer. I look at other reviews with people with similar situation as mine. And while I was at the dealership, another young lady was disputing extra charges she did not consent to as well. This dealership has been doing this to a lot of people and I’m unsure how they get away with this but this is so unethical. I will be reporting this to the corporate and file a complaint with nj consumer affairs. I will be putting a CSS review as well.

If I could give this business zero stars I absolutely
If I could give this business zero stars I absolutely would. Let's start off with I bought this vehicle December 27th of 2024 almost 9 months ago. I bought this vehicle in the dark (which I do not recommend) and of course this is an "AS IS" purchase. But let me note that i purchased from this dealership previously when they had different management and staff and they were WONDERFUL so I came back thinking i would get the same treatment (this was also an "AS IS" purchase). There were cracks in the windshield (not noticeable in the dark and was on the passenger side that the salesperson road on when I took it for a test drive) again did not notice any of this. I went back the next day to finalize purchase. Drove off on that drive I noticed clicking sound in engine, the hood was moving at high speeds, oil was not changed that car was reporting it was at 10% (but they said it was and that it just wasn't reset), and the passenger side fog light was out, and all the tire pressure lights were on. I took the vehicle over to a mechanic we use as needed and he stated that there are issues with the front end. I went back to the dealership and asked them if this is truly how they sell cars off their lot at $25K. They said there is nothing they will or can do as I purchased it "AS IS" I spoke with the manager Laurence Wineglass who had the hood adjusted (thankfully it was only an adjustment) said they would not replace the fog light that is could be more than just a light bulb change, they would not change the oil or cover anything that needed to be replaced on the front end. They had us come back 3 weeks later as we were requested to call them back after the holidays to get someone to come in to fill in the chips in the windshield. I had to take the receipts over to Laurence once this was completed and I asked if they would do anything about the front end, he said to get a report from my mechanic and he would see if he could go through warranty to get it fix. Fast forward to bringing in that report he made a copy and said he will reach out to the company and give me a call once he had an answer... 9 months later and several calls into him .... NO CALL BACK! (oh and it had a recall for the high performance fuel injectors which i had replaced through a Honda dealership thankfully that was a recall) Let's get to the even better part on what brought on this review.... I bought this car with 88,000ish miles on it .... it currently has 98,000ish miles on it.... while getting use to this vehicle I noticed very early on that sometimes I'd either have a hard shift or occasionally a higher idle, but I didn't think anything of it. Fast forward to currently. Route 23 Honda and I are currently discussing a new transmission which I will add has been REPLACED once before and this dealership did not make me aware of this at time of purchase! I ALSO WENT IN THERE SAYING THE REASON WHY I WAS BUYING A NEW CAR WAS BECAUSE I WAS DUMPING TOO MUCH MONEY INTO MY OTHER VEHICLE AND FIGURED THIS MADE MORE SENSE .... I've spent over $3000 on this vehicle in the last 9 months including Maintenace that should have been done before listing this vehicle for sale. Nonetheless I HIGHLY recommend to NEVER BUY A VEHCILE from this place!

My recent purchase of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 from
My recent purchase of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 from DCH Montclair Acura on 08/30/2025. After carefully reviewing my signed Buyer’s Order, I discovered that several additional products and services were added to my contract without my knowledge or consent. The unauthorized add-ons include: Lifetime Oil Change – $1,500 Nitro – $399 Theft Protection / ETCH – $499 Perma Plate – $1,023 These products were never explained, discussed, or approved by me at the time of purchase. This is a serious concern, as these unauthorized charges have increased the total cost of my vehicle by $3,421 BE CAREFUL!!!

Do not go to DCH Acura Montclair EVER!
Do not go to DCH Acura Montclair EVER!!! If I could give them 5 or more negative stars. I bought a used car from them not a week ago and I didn’t drive 2 miles and there were already problems. There was a rumbling sound from the rear as well as a clicking sound from the front. That wasn’t there when I test drove the car. I immediately reached out to my salesman and he told me to make an appointment with the service department which I did. The appointment was for last Monday morning and the service advisor told me there was a diagnostic fee of $250.00. I told her I would not pay it because I wasn’t informed of a change especially since the noise occurred less than 10 minutes after I drove away. I spoke to one of the managers who informed me that the car was sold as is with no warranty. The sales manager told me he would go and show me the repair records and what needed to be done. He never came back instead he sent the salesman back to say he would show me the car fax which I already had seen and made no mention of an oil leak from the front axle or anything about the rumbling sound. Who knows what else they hid from me or any other unsuspecting buyer. If I knew this before I spent my hard earned money on this vehicle and don’t have extra money to fix the problems that should have been disclosed before this happened not 10 minutes after leaving the show room. If there are any other DCH Montclair Acura buyers that have had any issues with this dealer feel free to me. I am planning on taking this to higher authorities unless they fix this unsafe car. All I’m asking for is them to fix this before y get into an accident. In the meantime STAY AWAY FROM DCH MONTCLAIR ACURA.

Andy, we are truly disappointed to hear about your recent experience and understand how frustrating this situation must be. We aim to provide every customer with a fair, transparent, and positive buying experience, and apologize if you do not feel that we provided you with that standard. While all of our pre-owned vehicles are sold with full disclosure and an available Carfax report, we understand your concerns, especially when issues arise so shortly after purchase. We take safety and customer satisfaction seriously, and we would never want any of our customers to feel misled or unsupported after leaving our lot. We'd like the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand the situation and explore options to address your concerns. If you're open to it, please reach out through the contact information below so we can work together toward a resolution. Thank you. Jay Jaber General Sales Manager jaberjaber@dchmontclairacura.com
