I would happily/ highly recommend anyone shopping for a new car to buy from Dan Perkins of Milford. My mother and I both purchased our vehicles from this Dan Perkins, and Brian V (sales) alongside the finance team as well as the management were attentive, courteous, congenial and truly went above and beyond to accommodate our personal needs. Above and Beyond in customer satisfaction

Mario was the salesman that worked with my buying my cross tech. I had a broken hand he was very patient with me considering I couldn’t drive. He came to my house with the paperwork and sat in my driveway going over all the cars functions. I would give him over 10 stars

Buyer Beware

I bought a used car from Dan Perkins in October 2021. It's the worst car buying experience I've had in my life. I was a first time customer in 1999 and came back to lease a vehicle in 2018 which I am very happy with. When looking for a first car for my son, I trusted Dan Perkins to sell me a reliable used vehicle ...which I purchased. A 2011 Subaru Impreza with 158k miles. The Carfax was good and the salesman from Dan Perkins ensured me was a safe, solid car. Shortly after bringing it home, I found it was not such a good car. Realizing buying used is a risk, I thought I'd fix it. It started with the battery. I had the car 2 months and had to replace it for $200! Then in February 2022, all lights went on and the car wouldn't run. I had called Dan Perkins Used Auto Sales department about the issues and they said I bought it "as is" and would try to help find me someone to service the car. They never called back. I towed it to a mechanic for diagnosis and then to a Transmission Specialist. The specialist replaced the Transmission Control Module for $1200.00. After replacing the TCM, I now saw an electrical problem. The mechanic checked it out and said it might be a harness connection. At this point, I thought I was done. No chance! The car was leaking oil..most likely from the valve covers and I decided to fix it. While under the hood, I noticed a frayed belt. Back to the mechanic to replace the Alternator belt for $137.00. Dan Perkins Service didn't notice this? So early this month my son said there was noise from the wheels. Turns out the brakes were bad. Another $850.00! Dan Perkins Service didn't notice this either? We only put 2000 miles on this since purchasing! Two calipers were shot and of course all pads needed replacing. And now there's a transmission leak. I'm done. I'm totally disgusted. My son is very disappointed and I feel like I've been misled. I my opinion, I think the car should not have been on the lot for sale. The car is now worthless since a new transmission costs more than the book value and I lost a lot of money with nothing to show for it. I will NEVER purchase from Dan Perkins again.

I must take a minute to once again review Dan Perkins Subaru, Milford CT. Dan Perkins Subaru provides a great atmosphere with A+ Customer service and reliability. To start, I must mention this dealer's importance of recognizing and acknowledging customers. Everywhere, including the lobby area, passing the technicians, and in the service office everyone makes eye contact and hail a greeting. I, once again, would like to give a five star rating to Gil and Marc, from service, for yet another commendable service visit and for always going that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. And to also to add, the never-ending support of David. Last, but not in the least, the warm supportive staff of the service office. Thank you everyone.

Quick and Easy Purchase

Dan Perkins Subaru was one of the few dealers in CT that had the exact model I was looking for. After receiving a very competitive price over the phone, I visited the dealership the next day. Elmer was very helpful and efficient; the purchase took less than an hour and I was able to pick up the car the next day. No surprises, straightforward sales process, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dan Perkins Subaru based on my quick and easy purchasing experience.

Dishonest shady dealership

They sold us a complete lemon, burned oil since the day we purchased, and never honored or fixed the car. Transmission also went, Still owe 5k cant drive the car. Worst xxxxxxx car dealer around

Always a fight

At 83 years of age, knowing that a temperature change brings down the air in the tires, I do not want to sit and wait while it is checked out. I have this fight with Dan Perkins every time for I just want to come in and have air put into the tire in 10minutes or so. They refuse every time! If I were younger, I would do it myself at a filling station. But at this age, I am forced to just keep on the soft tire for months until I get enough miles to schedule a 5000 mile check up. I am so sorry I bought at Dan Perkins.

Best customer service

I recently had my car serviced and was not happy with the bill. They did not charge me for the service. When I got home and looked at a previous bill for the same service, I found out I was wrong. I called the service department to apologize and offered to pay the bill. I spoke to Mark, the service manager, and he told me it was not necessary. He was so kind to me I had to praise Dan Perkins Subaru of Milford for their fantastic customer service.. I will never go anyplace else for cars or service.
