Dowling had the specific model / year / miles that I was looking for. I called ahead to make sure it was still available and headed down later that morning. Car was clean and presentable (which isnt always the case depending on where you go). After a test drive we sat back down the sales person (Rick) to discuss the price/financing. Honestly, I generally dread this stage of the process but the experience was straight forward, open, no pressure, etc. Trade in value was in line my reasearch/expectations, financing application was done on site and multiple offers were reviewed with me, No extra administrative or add-on fees. Picked up the car later that week. Final transaction/paperwork was quick and easy, no surprises, and I was on my way. Rick, the salesperson, was friendly, personable, responsive, professional, etc. Would ask for him again or provide his name to others heading to Dowling Ford.

Was anxiously trying to find a suv as close to "new" as possible after losing my Volkswagon in an accident on I95, I went to Milford, Brandford, Carmax, Danbury and around my residence in Norwalk and everything was expensive and high miles from the 3yr lease vehicles. Suv.com is where I found this deal for my vehicle, so a friend and myself went to Dowling Ford, Chesire, CT and test drove the Jeep, which I met with Richard in the used sales, the most friendly guy plus , he just put the plate on the car, gave me the keys and told me to go without him....Most other dealerships the sales guy is inside and talking your head off....Richard was very accommodating and patient with all of our questions and concerns about the vehicle only having 3,100 miles (basically new). Really enjoyed the service and also letting us test drive other vehicles to get a feel too!! I am enjoying my "new" - used car which drives excellent!!! Have had to use Dowling's service for a airbag recall and a brake inspection. They were very friendly and honest. My car is a 2006 with low miles but I thought it was time to get brakes checked and would have been fine with replacing pads as the car is 11 yrs old. Its not making any noise so when they let me know the pads were at 80% front and 60% back of original life and didnt need replacing I was impressed as they easily could have sold me on new ones due to age. Both of the men who helped me were extremely friendly.

No difficulties. Did everything on time. Cost was reasonable.

Buying a car online and site-unseen is a first for me, a seemingly daunting task of trust and logistics especially when its a 12 hour trip. They are a small Ford dealership in Connecticut, so you get the attention you need to make the deal perfect. He didnt move on the price, but he did put all new tires, all new brakes and rotors on the car along with the full tank of gas, even let me pick the tires out! He also hooked me up with his shipper for a great price and the car was in my town in Indiana in under 24 hours! Thanks Rick! Love the car and I couldnt be happier.

I visited several dealers in Ct. and Mass. Dowlng had the best selection of the vehicle I wanted. Jim Funaro was low key, very professional and made the entire process painless! Highly recommended!!!
