I had recently read about the Grand Cherokee with the turbo diesel engine and the reviewers really praised it. Went to a dealership in Berkeley where they had the Overland model with under 1000k as used. It sold quickly and I test drove a limited. Really liked it from the time I sat in it to getting back. One of my adult daughters was with me and really sang it's praises. However I decided I really liked the way the overland was equipped. I went online and found another new one at Hilltop. This is a larger dealership and I was a skeptical at first. That said I ended up having one of the best experiences ever. I worked with Trey who was excellent. The finance dept. got me the payment range I requested and was very professional. My deal was complicated as I had a MB on lease I would have to return. I didn't feel pressured and I did additional research on the vehicle. The more I looked into it the more I was convinced this was the car for me. I think it's fair to say the staff at Hilltop went the extra miles for me and made this happen. I've had the vehicle about a week and I'm looking forward to some road trips. I went back on a Saturday for more info about the nav/entertainment system ( I have the DVD rear seat system). They were super busy but Dave took care of giving me a tutorial on the system. I also witnessed a service manager resolve a issue with a customer in a very effective way. Again this was a Saturday. I hope Chrysler/Fiat keeps moving in this direction as I had two out of two positive experiences. But Hilltop is the dealership where I made my purchase. In my deal I was able to purchase an additional warranty with the money credited. I would strongly recommend doing homework, knowing what you want, taking your time, and going to Hilltop. Especially for SUV/Truck folks but also for standard car needs.

Contacted this dealer about a used vehicle they had advertised.. Internet sales called me I told them I was interested but had questions about the van. I asked my questions, the salesman didn't know the answers and told me he would call back. I waited half the day then called him back to see if he found out, he tells me no, but he will get to it when he is done working on something else. I told him cool but please call me because i need to buy a van. 2 weeks later no call.

I stopped by Hilltop Chrysler Jeep to test drive a couple of Jeep Wranglers. I did not buy my jeep from them, but they were instrumental in my deciding to buy a Jeep. Thanks Hilltop!
