Wow! Biggest Bait and Switch I've Ever Seen.

Would've left a 0 stars if I could have. I went to Empire Hyundai dealership today with a family member to purchase his first financed car. Not only did they not take a penny off but the contract reflected $10K over the advertised online price! They blamed my relative for not "reading the fine print". Even worse, they wanted him to pay almost 10% interest with a very good credit score. The salesman even followed us out to our car when we went leave to offer up the advertised price as a "deal" after " calling the owner". We go back inside and they all the sudden hit on a credit "glitch" which didnt actually exist with his credit score in attempt to charge him even more money. They then said he would need a co-signer, when he qualifies for a mortgage. I've never done business with a dealership so shady in all my years. The poor older woman next to us was being high pressured by a different salesman standing up, flailing his arms, saying how her $700/month was such a great deal, how she could come back in 6 months to refinance the car. What a scam. This made us all feel uncomfortable and sympathy for her. Shame on them! Someone needs to contact the FTC about this dealership. Stay clear of this place. We're better off at any other dealership than this one.

Bait and Switch

They have a 2023 New Hyundai Tuscon Limited listed for $10,000 less than MSRP $29,625. Imagine my unsurprised when I call and they say they are having "website" issues and the car is actually $39,325. Based on other reviews, I would have ZERO trust in fair dealing from this dealership.

Since when are car dealerships enjoyable to be at?

Since when are car dealerships enjoyable to be at? When I walked thru the doors of Empire Hyundai in Fall River thats when. the assumed dreadful day came after a long 3 week process of being told my wife's car that she purchased only 2 years ago (from another local but will remain unnamed dealership) has a bad motor after having problems since we got it. Did multiple dealerships in the area and all were outshined by our sales associate Mackenzie and the rest of the team. From being greeted in the rain last week by SALES MANAGER Michael we could already tell things were going to be better then the last dealership that stared at us on the lot just trying to look at some of what they had. Told him I needed a nice no pressure sales associate as my wife has already had a hard time with the previous few. THATS WHERE MACKENZIE MADE THIS AN EXPERIENCE THAT HAS EARNED ME AS A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! Byfar night and day between any other sales associate we have spent time with. She made it feel as it was our direct needs to be met and keep us happy rather then the "im just selling you whatever car I can make the most money on". Sat us down, actually listened to my wife I barely even had to talk, and by my surprise said she had several options she wanted to show us. Several? Its raining out just bring it up on the computer or something. "Don't be silly let me pull a few up which one would you like to see first?" 3rd car in Mackenzie was spot on... a beautiful white, low mile VW Tiguan. Wife's eyes lit up seeing it. Walked her thru the countless features and upgrades the car had over her traded vehicle..... this was the one... but i cant afford a VW! Thats when part 3 of me being mind-blown came in. This voice came over the intercom requesting Mackenzie to bring us to the finance office, the moment ive been dreading, had preliminary payments worked out a little but but higher then what i wanted to be at by a little, but asked what they could do. The smile on Joe's face when he got to shake my hand and tell me we are better then expected. Joe went out of his way, worked a few things for us the best that he could for our situation and got us an approval, WITH WARRANTY WHICH I 100% support anyone buying if affordable, for less money then what i originally went in the office for. Explained my interest rate, the 2 offers i had on the vehicle by the different banks, and which i felt more comfortable with since they were close. Never thought id leave a car dealership accomplished as well as actually happy to make this big of a purchase. If it was not for Joe or Mackenzie im not sure if I would have even bought her a new car and just given her mine. Highly recommend both of them and will continue to do so, and maybe back sooner then I think to trade in mine.

Poor Customer service

Called them in the morning, they told me the car is available, and even talked about the price. But when we get there after 50 miles drive, what I heard is the car was just sold. None of them noticed me ahead the car was sold and care about how much time we wasted. Avoid this place and do not go unless you are living in the next door. I feel they are fishing people showing good price for the cars that actually do not exist and let them buy another car

I bought a 2018 Mazda with less than 30 thousand miles in

I bought a 2018 Mazda with less than 30 thousand miles in 2022. It has been less than 1 year and I already have had to put over 2 grand into it. Not to mention it took over 3 weeks for me to finally get the car off the lot because "the work" they were suppose to do.

Customer service really isn't that good.

Customer service really isn't that good. They do have good deals on cars. And the trade in promo they have is not a lie and definitely legit. But there service isn't good. My sales agent was basically rushing me through out the entire process. She didn't know alot of information on the cars. I kept asking if the car had solar panels and she was like there's no sun roof and then peeled off the plastic on the roof after pointing it out to see there's solar panels on the car. She told me she set up my blue link didn't even do it at all or right one or another. Then I called customer service because I forgot something in my old car. I asked if they could set it aside and they told me they left it with the cashier. Then my gf drives to pick it up they didn't even know what was going on to find out. They never even took the thing out of my old car I traded in. If you wanna look for some decent pricing on cars they have it l. If you wanted to be treated in a professional manner keep looking you will get better customer service in a Mc Donald's in the worst part of fall river Part 2 so now I came back and bought a second car trying to give them a second chance and of course another bad experience. First issue is I told them I have a car that's having issues I want to get rid of it with transferring next to nothing of negative equity oh sure we can do that don't worry we will take care of you. Tell me how they tried to sell me on a car and SIGN for it as well off a trade in they literally just got that day without even checking it out. Next thing I know I get a call saying we can't sell you the car it needs like 7k worth of repairs. So now I have to go with a different car no problem I was kind of hesitant anyway because it had almost 100k miles. So now I'm getting this new elantra and I was trying to do a trade in program after goinf back and fourth just to sum up this crap show. The whole point of me coming back to this dealership was for there TRADE in program they agreed ro give me 8k for my car and I would have to put down 1200 and transfer over 500 negative equity totally cool with that. Next thing I know there transferring 8k worth of negative equity and charging me full price for the car even the sales agent was caught off guard because the Managers are sneaks that like to screw over customers. I was so tired and drained I just bought the car anyways but I swear on my kids I will never come back to this terrible dealership again. And the managers acted like they were doing me a favor. Only nice thing was the honesty and time taken out of the sales agent Jose he drove to my house to drop off the car and made sure I was taken care of.and he was also very reliable. But don't BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL GET SCREWED SOME WAY

Terrible experience continues with this place.

Terrible experience continues with this place. Wrote a review two weeks ago about my first experience with them trying to buy a car and how it went wrong. Kasey responded asking for a call back to the her with the number she provided and I’ve called 3 times since then and no response from her or anyone from this dealership. Is the receptionist not passing along the messages? I don’t know but this is the level of customer service you’ll get by going here. Being completely ignored.
