Pleasantly surprised with car buying experience.

Pleasantly surprised with our new car buying experience at McCord Dodge in Longview, WA. We had every expectation of walking out after looking at 2 models in order to make our decision and buy through a discount dealer. Salesman Michael R. was not the typical obnoxious car salesman we hate to deal with. He was willing to listen to what we wanted, how much we were willing to pay and what we wanted for our trade in. He didn?t try and haggle with us as most car dealers do. He took our request to owner who also didn?t try and haggle. We walked out with a signed deal. Loan person was also great to deal with. Highly recommend McCord Dodge in Longview for a great car buying experience.

Sorry to wast your time

Cash in hand simply wanting to test drive a used truck.but dealer was only interested in showing me a new truck.no thanks would have liked to buy local .i drove 3 different used trucks at various dealerships today with no questions.dissapointed!!

fair prices and non-pushy staff.

My wife and I have tried several of the car dealerships along the coast from Astoria Oregon up to Aberdeen Washington, as far North as Olympia/Tacoma/Puyallup, as far south as Portland....and all the dealers in between. I do a lot of research before purchasing anything..I thought why not do it with vehicles like anything else I purchase. All this is to say that... Time and again (I've re-checked my research each time we've purchased) McCords has had that great mix of small-town friendly sales staff mixed with fair asking prices and trade-in values that are reasonable. They were also helpful during our first purchase in financing, were able to tell us about a special financing offer through a local credit union that was almost a full 1% lower than anything else we were able to find ourselves. So, over the past 15 years we've purchased a total of 4 vehicles from them, (three were planned purchases and one was unexpected after our car was totalled in a collision). Still to this day, I refer friends and family to McCords, and would never hesitate to do so to anyone. I also recommend Daniel as a salesman. We first met him as a car washer (lot boy?), he was admiring our car after our purchase as he finished giving it a bath. Next time we met, he remembered us immediately, and became our salesman. Now he works as the fleet sales manager, but is always willing to come show us non-fleet vehicles. Very good place.

The worst customer service. Curly what happened?

I went in to test drive a vehicle, unfortunately Perry was my salesman. He was very rude and even answered a personal call during the test drive. He completely lied about everything we had talked about. His attitude was completely unacceptable and he didn't care whether he sold this vehicle or not. I was so disgusted with the service that I asked to speak to a manager, I explained to the manager how disappointed I was with this salesman and was really interested in purchasing this vehicle but I wanted to deal with someone who would even pretend that they cared about the customers. He of course apologized and assured me I would get a return phone call within the next 24 hours, never happened. I would never treat or lie to a potential customer. I will never even consider buying a vehicle there, it is definitely worth a drive out of town to purchase a vehicle.

Enjoyable Experience

The customer service I received from Levi and Brad was very easy going. They were not pushy salesmen, very enjoyable experience.
