Con Artist Alert

Con artist Alert... A guy called from this dealership in Lakewood WA after we filled out on KBB. As it turned out he works there but I don't think he was acting on an official capacity. Ater looking at our car. He Said "the offer they made was so low, in would be offensive." But he has a guy that usually buys the cars after. He gave us the name number and said he set up a meeting for us. I know, if he had made an offer he couldn't stand by it. The guy he sent us to is a "real" Used Cars Salesman with all the terrible connotations that come with that title. If you take you car here to sell and he refers you to Austin's Auto * Sales, Brady...DON'T bother! He will show you fake "info on your car". Tells you your car is worth $10,000 less than its real value. I think the guy we dealt with at the Lakewood Fords was Kyle but I don't know if there are others. Beware don't take their referrals at all.

Worst customer service

First time at this dealership. Made an appointment for a simple oil change. Drop the car off early. Was told they would contact me later that afternoon when it was done. One day has passed, and now we are on day two. I've contacted several people in service to find out when I can get my car. And all I get is the run around. Worst customer service of any dealership I've ever dealt with.

Seek service elsewhere

First time at Lakewood Ford. They lost my trust. I scheduled service for an oil change. Selected the Ford Factory Service which according to the website includes a top off of all fluids including DEF (see pictures). When I picked up my truck the DEF was not topped off. I returned to the service desk and asked about this. Georgia, the service representative told me they do not top off DEF as part of the service. When I told her and the other service representative sitting there that it is listed on the website as part of the package, they said they could top off my DEF but they would need to charge me $5 a gallon. Unhappy, I left and called the dealership to try and rectify this situation. I was transferred to the service manager (Ginger, I think) left a message with my concerns and still have not received a call back. Starting to wonder what else was left out that I thought I was paying for. Did they really rotate my tires? Did they remember to drain the fuel/water separator? I hope the mechanic didn’t overlook the oil filter. A little snarky, I know, but valid concerns when you are trusting someone to give you what you paid for when there’s really no way to verify. Now, I have to find a different place for my next service…..

Never shop from this dealer

I will never buy a vehicle from this place again. The sales process is a disaster. They made promises to fix my vehicle in contract. The vehicle was sent to be painted. After 3 attempts and 5 weeks later I get the vehicle back and the badge says DENAIL. I found out they sent it to maaco. This is a 90k Gmc Denali and should never be touched by a MAACO. I was told they will send it to another paint shop to be fixed. I have been ignored, sent to VM of people that don't work there and promised that this will get handled. I regret walking into this dealer.

Sold us an expensive death trap

We bought used car in January. Within 2 days a faulty ignition switch would dangerously cut out while on the road (That same ignition issue that killed 124 people). We returned the vehicle, and asked if we could have our trade in back while they worked on the car. The salesman claimed the trade in "Was already crushed at the wrecker", which seemed dubious since it had only been a few days. A month later the brakes started not stopping, It ended up being the rotors. We had only put on about 5k miles, so the brakes either weren't inspected or a choice was made to put it up for sale with the rotors badly worn. We bought the "premium" warranty but somehow the brakes set us back $600. The Airbag light is on and will cost another 400$ to fix. Little things broken goes with buying a used car, but we purchased with Lakewood Ford and paid a premium over a smaller dealer because we trusted the vehicle would at least be safe.

Terrible Customer Servivce

Vehicle was painted over RUST no help. Claim was that it was from the previous ownership. Rust bled through recently and I was told there was no help from this dealership. Borderline Criminal.

Trying to find a car with Bad Credit. It is hard

Here is what have to say, these people are very nice, and even tho I have bad credit they were still willing to try and help me. Thank you for that. I know what I am looking for. now I just gotta go find it. sorry you all couldn't get me the deal of a lifetime. Maybe when I raise my credit score. until then, have an awesome day..

Great people!

James Zoller was an extremely patient and accommodating salesman. We weren’t in a hurry to buy a car because of his candid approach made us comfortable. Michelle Johnson was efficient and made sure that we were understanding everything. We appreciate the entire staff.

GREAT EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH LAKEWOOD!

I recently worked with Josh Kelly at Lakewood Ford. He was extremely honest, focused and attentive during the entire process. I wholeheartedly appreciate his responsiveness when I had questions about the vehicle I eventually purchased from him! As a sales man, I believe Josh to be 'in a class by himself! Lakewood Ford is better for having him on their team! My next Ford F-150 will be purchased from Josh and Lakewood Ford!
