Bought 2 trucks from Sandy Sansing Ford in Daphne this

Bought 2 trucks from Sandy Sansing Ford in Daphne this year. The second one, a pre owned F150. I bought the maintenance and service plans. Sent the truck to Louisiana for my son to drive. According to Carfax Sansing performed an oil change before they sold it to me. Took the truck to the Ford dealer in Louisiana for my first oil change and this dealer says the drain plug was cross threaded at the previous oil change. My only option is for them to replace the oil pan and that will cost $1000. Contacted Sansing and they said they couldn’t help me unless I brought it 400 miles to their dealership. I won’t be back to Sandy Sansing and I don’t recommend them to you either.

Lester, we understand your frustration with the oil pan issue and appreciate your continued trust and multiple purchases with us. We can’t authorize another facility to perform a repair that we’re able to handle ourselves, especially without verifying the work. Our factory-trained technicians follow strict procedures, and cross-threading a drain plug is very rare. We hope you understand why we request the vehicle be returned to our shop so we can properly assess the concern.
