The absolute BEST car buying experience in decades!

The absolute BEST car buying experience in decades! Why have I not come here before? Carlsen is EXACTLY what you want buying a car to be like. You go online, do your research and prepare, and ask for a quote for a trade-in on KBB. Or you inquire about a price for something you see in their inventory, and right away I got an email (not a thousand annoying phone calls or texts, or a daily / weekly email blasts), but just a simple one or two emails to see what I was interested in. When I said I wanted no hassel, knew what I wanted, and was miserable in my last two purchases at other dealerships, I got better than VIP pricing (which I also already had approved, but had not yet told them about). The offer was in print, in an email quote. I also let them know I was considering buying from another dealership, and they quickly offered a better trade-in deal (by $1,000, without having seen my car), and then promised to make my transaction as quick and painless as possible. I knew what I wanted, they had it in stock, they washed, detailed and gassed it up before I came to see it and made the ENTIRE transaction in less then 45 min.! The ENTIRE purchase, because they knew what I wanted to put down, they knew I wanted the finance deal for the rest, and they had all the paperwork ready for me when I arrived. SIMPLE, FAST RESPECTFUL, they did not try to sell me some other car, or extras I did not want, AND told me about the additional VIP pricing for the service packages, even if I did not use them as the service provider. They took the time (yes, even the same 45 min.) to go over all the new featues of the car, set-up my bluetooth, and made sure I was happy with my purchase and knew about additional accessories I had mentioned I was interested in. From the sales person, to the manager, to the finance and documents person, everyone was there to greet me and had prepared in advance and worked together as a team to make this pleasant and fast for me. WOW, teamwork! This was even on one of the busiest car buying holiday weekends too! Lastly, this is my 3rd Subaru purchase and will not be my last, but Aaron at Carlsen was the first person to tell me about the ownership badges and sent me the link so I could personalize my car a bit. (Love it!) Then he followed up a little while after my purchase to see if I was happy, and indeed I am! So much better then my past two experiences at Putnam Subaru, I could NOT believe it. We will be buying our next car next year from here and sending my family members here too! Thanks Carlsen and Aaron, I finally did not hate (and yes, even loved) my car buying experience!! I would give you 10 stars if I could.

Carlsen Subaru stands out compare to the other dealership nearby from competitive prices and availability of inventory made our purchase one to remember from smooth, knowledgeable people from the test drive to signing papers and to driving our brand new car home. Jeff the finance guy answered all our questions pertaining to warranties, David knows car from the back of his head and more knowledge to share. I definitely left this dealership with so much information that I don’t feel more than comfortable driving my car. Aaron made purchasing a new car a pleasant experience. He answered all my questions (and there were a lot) and patiently sat in my car with me to show me all the features. Introduced me to service technicians. Wonderful man! Will recommend my friends and family buy from him!

Larry Fung is the best car salesman I have ever dealt

Larry Fung is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with and am happy to add another Subaru from Larry to the garage. This beautiful outback wilderness will be our 8th Subaru. It was truly a pleasure and I really appreciate the fact Larry took the time to make sure I knew everything about the car as well as the service department and letting me know I can now make appointments via my car! Thanks again Larry. I hope to be back when the BRZ TS drops.
