Do not ever bring your car here for service of any kind.

Do not ever bring your car here for service of any kind. These people are unethical, dishonest, and I wouldn't trust them to change a tire on my bicycle. Once you drop your car off, it is impossible to get a living, breathing person on the phone in the service department. After repeated attempts to call and leaving multiple voicemails, I never received a single call, text, or email with any updates on my vehicle. Once on my way to pick up the vehicle, I received an automated text with recommended services in 2 separate links that did not communicate the same information. Neither gave any explanation for the recommended services or any pricing information whatsoever. I picked up my car because they had an entire day to diagnose a check engine light and did nothing to fix it. After some independent research, it turns out that the item needing replacement is related to a battery recall that this dealership claimed to have fixed months ago. Prior to that appointment, Kathleen Farris told me the fix would entail a software update, then they would fully charge the car, test drive it, and see if a check engine light came on. When I picked up my car, she informed me that all they had done was update the software (after having the vehicle for a full day) and it was up to me to charge it and come back in if the light came on. The light has now come on, they did not communicate that this is related to the battery recall that is a FIRE HAZARD. It is completely unethical that they would only perform half of the required work for a recall repair. It is completely dishonest in the way that Kathleen told me what would be performed vs. what was actually performed and quite frankly dangerous that I was not warned about the FIRE HAZARD if I were to charge my car with this check engine light that's still on.

It's been months and no one even reached out from this

It's been months and no one even reached out from this dealership about their poor service. It's such a shame how much people don't care anymore. I don't have any ill feelings anymore about the horrible deal SDCDJR put me in. I actually wish them all well. I simply ask they don't screw anyone else over. The pride and egos there is sad. A bunch of people who fight for sales then live and sleep well knowing they are corrupt. I would much rather walk to work than to ever sit in another Jeep. Anyone buying a new Jeep, please go to the number of Jeep dealerships in town who are great. Do me a favor and just check around before SDCDJR.

Gosh.

Gosh. For the last six months I’ve owned a Jeep Willys. I thought I got a great deal with an honest and friendly salesperson. Today, as I went to upgrade my Jeep to a Rubicon at a different dealer, I was shown my deal from SDCDJR which was applauding. The deal was so corrupt and it shows I’m now $66K in negative equity when I put money down plus their $15K rebate. I trusted this location namely “Albert” and I got screwed. The shame and disappointment I feel is overwhelming. I pray the salespeople there are safe, but deception will indeed prevail one day. Look back how you treat those who trust you and ask for forgiveness. Shame on you all. There are other ways to make money than greed.

We have at leased three vehicles from this dealership.

We have at leased three vehicles from this dealership. The experience has been professional and comfortable. Everyone has been excellent from the sales person shout out to Sebastian M. to every one of the managers. They treat you with respect and they answer any questions that you have. The whole process has been positive. From the beginning of a lease to returning the lease. They are head and shoulders above the other dealers in San Diego.

Had my Jeep Cherokee in for lift gate recall a few months

Had my Jeep Cherokee in for lift gate recall a few months ago and now it doesn’t work at all. I have made 8 calls and left 8 messages over the past three weeks and still no contact from the service department.

If I could give negative 10 stars I would but I can't.

If I could give negative 10 stars I would but I can't. Brought my 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave on September 12, 2024 for oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. After the service, I did a front to back walkaround and everything looks good. I never thought about checking the top. Brought it straight home into my garage and didn't use it for three days. On the third day, I noticed something odd with the roof rack. Upon further inspection, found both the driver and passenger side rails of the roof rack dented. Worse on the driver side than on the passenger side. It is still usable but the damage is there staring at me. My wild guess is it hit something above the shop when it was raised on the lift. I know I have no hope of getting any compensation for the damage or have the service shop repair it because they will just deny it unless corporate will do something about this. I am writing this review to give a warning to customers to make sure they give their vehicle a thorough inspection front to back, top to bottom before driving it off the lot. 2024.10.03 Update: The service manager called me to meet with him to assess the damage. Met him 2024.09.30 and he was surprised why the lift did not stop when the roof rack hit the bar overhead. He also indicated the damage can not be repaired. He asked me to email him the replacement cost estimate which I did right after getting the estimate from Leer Truck Accessory Shop. Called him the next day to make sure he received the estimate. He indicated he will pass the estimate on to his boss and will update me with the progress. Currently waiting on the update. 2024.12.23 Update: As of today, this issue has not been resolved. The service manager has not answered my phone calls and has not responded to my messages. I'm beginning to think I'm screwed unless I can find a way to bring this up to higher management.

We purchased a car from San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

We purchased a car from San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram about a month ago, trusting their assurance that the vehicle was in good working condition. However, just a month later, multiple dashboard warnings and indicators lit up. After taking the car in for an assessment, we discovered it requires $5,000 worth of repairs. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and we strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and frustration.

I'm from Denver and was in San Diego dropping my daughter off at college when I received a coolant warning light. Not wanting to drive 1200 miles through the dessert with a potential issue I attempted to get a last minute service. Got an appointment at Kearny Mesa Dodge, but when I arrived they said they could not look at my truck for three days and would not help at all. I went to S.D Dodge where Service Advisor Turner "GeGe" took great care of me, she had a mechanic look at my truck and I was out in 30 minutes and back on the road. I would like to thank GeGe for the outstanding customer service and understanding. I would highly recommend this dealership and service center.
