I am very disappointed with the service at this
I am very disappointed with the service at this dealership. During my recent visit, my car was damaged in an accident to the front bumper while under their care. Unfortunately, no apology or accountability was offered, and the overall treatment was unprofessional. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone who values good service and respect for their vehicle.

We sincerely apologize for the unfortunate incident and any inconvenience this may have caused. It's concerning to hear that there was no accountability or apology offered, which is not reflective of the standards we uphold. We'd like to address this issue with urgency and care - please get in touch so we can make things right. Thank you, Kelvin Garcia - Service Manager - kgarcia3@koons.com

I purchased a 2022 used car from Koons Tysons Chrysler
I purchased a 2022 used car from Koons Tysons Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and it has been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Within 7 days, the internal operating system completely failed (no backup camera, no navigation, no safety features). Despite multiple visits to the dealership, I was never offered a rental and was left without transportation for weeks. I sent numerous emails and made over 15 calls — not a single email was answered. When I would finally get through to a manager I was fed lines like “buying a used car means buying someone else’s problems” and "should have bought the extended warranty" and I was constantly pushed back and forth between sales and service. Car needed $7,894 in repair costs — on top of spending over $50,000 a week prior. Since purchase over a month ago, I’ve only had the car working in my possession for less than a week. This is not what anyone should expect when buying a vehicle from a Koons dealership. Lack of accountability, lack of transparency, and total disregard for the customer experience. They go from being your best friends prior to signing to your worst enemies after they get your money. Buyers beware — Look elsewhere for your own sanity - literally every other dealership is probably better than this place.

Can’t rate service bc do not use them.
Can’t rate service bc do not use them. Buying used car was nightmare. Looking for first car for son and found one that checked most boxes. They gave price and we said we’d think about it. For two days I checked out similar cars at different dealers. Was contacted by salesperson and told he could get better price. Went back to find out what better price I could get. Told there wasn’t better price. Informed them I saw similar car for better price. They asked from where and I told them. They went away and came back with photocopy of a listing from that dealer and explained why their car was better and why it was priced higher. I said the car they showed me was not the car I was talking about. They said it was only similar car dealer had. I pulled up dealer website and showed them the car I looked at. Don’t know why they didn’t find it (I’m being polite by saying that). Sales manager came over and THEN, lo and behold, price drop. Not much but something. Agreed on price and said we’d be back next day with cashiers check to buy the car. Withdrew funds from high yield savings account and showed up at appointed time on Thursday. Was told car wouldn’t be ready for at least 2 more hours. Apparently error in scheduling detailing. Told we could do paperwork while waiting. They wanted credit application filled out. Why? We were paying cash! Their policy to prove they were selling car to who we said we were. We had drivers licenses and military IDs (basically State and Federally-issued photo IDs to prove we were who we said we were.). Nope needed credit application filled out. Whenever you run credit app it has negative impact on credit score. We said ‘Forget it’ and ready to walk out. They quickly came back with us to fill out the application but they wouldn’t run it. (So much for their reason requiring credit app.). Then they needed proof of insurance. Contacted my insurance company and 15 minutes later they had proof in their email. After all that car still not ready and was told it would be ready next morning. They would call me at 9 AM to schedule pickup. I was suppose to be in FL for business meeting on Friday, the next day. Now couldn’t go bc I needed to be at Koons to finish process. But they asked for the check. Told them they’d get check only after we inspected the car when it was ready for pick up. Resked Miami meeting for Saturday. Friday, no call. Finally I called. Car not ready. Needed to fix dent and paint it. Will be ready Saturday morning. They’ll call I was told. Had to cancel meeting again in Miami. Made me look bad. Resked Miami meeting for Saturday evening. Friday evening, got call from Koons. Car repaired but not yet painted bc it was raining too hard. They’d call 9 AM with update. Saturday, no call from Koons. I called them after 11. Was told they needed a part so car won’t be ready until Monday, AND asked for the check to “cement the deal”. Could barely control my reaction to laugh. Asked to speak to general manager. Was told he wasn’t in. Tried to resked Miami meeting for Tuesday. Was told people leaving Miami Sunday afternoon. If I wasn’t there Sunday at 10, deal was off the table. Couldn’t get confirmed flight to Miami. Decided to drive. Driving south on I95 on Saturday afternoon is killer. Took 3 hours just to reach Richmond. Drove through the night arriving Miami at 7:30 AM Sunday. Showed up at meeting exhausted physically and mentally. Did not make good impression. Didn’t make it back to VA Monday for car pick up but didn’t matter. Apparently Koons received wrong part so car won’t be ready until “maybe Thursday”. Got car Thursday. Didn’t even put full tank of gas or offer anything for our ordeal. And I keep getting text messages about their Labor Day sale and to come in and check their inventory, They did ask for our review, which is “wouldn’t buy a pair of roller skates from them”.
