We were travelling through and had transmission problems.

I'd rather have a stranger work on my vehicles

I am a service advisor for another Dodge dealer in another state. A customer with 2,000 miles broke down outside of Elko. The customer called me for help on what to do. We set him up with roadside assistance to tow him to the nearest dodge facility for warranty repairs. When I reached out to Elko Motor company to let them know a customer was stranded near him, he literally said it's not his problem. He refused to contact the customer because it's "not his customer" even tho the vehicle was indeed about to become his customer. The advisor yelled at me saying he can't put this customer ahead of the others waiting.... which is 100% not what I asked. I simply needed him to reach out to the stranded customer to help him get his vehicle towed to their facility. He said they don't have a tow company and the customer needs to figure it out on his own.The advisor refused to give me local tow company that could tow the customer in. He refused to help the customer in any way, was very rude and yelled and just would not listen. This customer is currently still stranded on the highway since 2pm yesterday. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I spoke with Daniel Barnum? on the phone. Service Manager wouldn't answer, his name is Dave Booth. I asked for the GM and got no luck. Another dealer from another state shouldnt be having to do your work. I feel awful for this customer who has to deal with these people. Will be sharing on several Facebook pages this week.

Safe Place To Go For Out-Of-State Buyers

Despite that I live over 1500 miles away from Elko, Aaron, Steph, and Jeff all treated Me as if I was one of their neighbors and they worked diligently to provide any and all info I needed to make a deal happen in the midst of a hectic holiday season with the demands of a pandemic on top of it. Just a terrific group of people and I would not hesitate to shop there again.

Great service all the way around!

I enjoyed my experience with Elko Motors. They were fast, friendly and efficient! I had my children with me and they were very accommodating for them also. I would definitely go back again for another car.

A duvet of a Jeep

Was suppose to see a certain person when I arrived. Anyway this person wasn’t prepared to deal with us. This person should have already have the vehicle ready. No such thing happened. Me met with her and she said wait a moment. But we just walked out to the vehicle we had seen. So we waited for this person. Waited 15-30 mins. She text me and says oh I’m really sorry I can’t find the key. I’m Like what the heck. Why could this person come out and tell us personally. There were 3 dealers that came up to us to see if we needed help. I’m like what the heck. Anyway the 3rd dealer went and looked for the keys. This person found the keys. So we dealt with him. He was so kind. So he got the commission on the vehicle.

2005 F350

I purchased 2005 F350 sight on seen from the dealer. At first the fixed price sales process was a little annoying however, but watching the vehicle everyday on the dealer website it did come down over time (approx 30 days) to what I felt was a fair price. It did seem like they did a good job of addressing safety and drivability issues before listing the vehicle and agreed to an alignment, rotation and balance before delivery. The salesman (Leo) was honest, helpful and straightforward. I would recommend working with him for any Transaction. Being out of state they agreed to allow an independent mechanic go through the vehicle prior to my purchase. Salesman even helped arrange having the truck delivered to the Salt Lake City airport (for a fee) to help out with my return drive. Overall a very good experience.
