Oil change to a new upgrade
Went for an oil change for our 2019 Rogue and test drove a 2021 while we waited. Chris G was so helpful with the process and we ended up driving the new car off the lot! Thanks for taking great care of us!

I was interested in a used 2020 Nissan 370Z. This location had one in decent shape for an okay price. However the sales experience was atrocious. Luke Edson reached out and said he would be happy to show me the car, due to the far drive from my house, he graciously agreed to meet me at Nissan Southtowne so I could test drive it. That is where the good sales experience ended for me. After the test drive, he stated he would send me some numbers and that I would hear from him shortly. I received 1 text saying he could get me at "under 500 a month" in the car. No other information. From that point forward getting a text response or him to answer his phone was practically non-existent. At one point,I even got a text from another number claiming to be "Luke's brother" and that Luke was busy, but he could help me over text if I wanted. I responded to that number and never heard back yet again. One of the weirdest and least professional experiences I've had car buying. Go elsewhere where sales people actually want to make a sale.

jborn; Thank you for letting me know about this issue. I did speak with Luke Edson about this lead and potential sale. He said he did get the car down to south town to take a look and sounds like that is where the issue evolved. I believe that he was unable to give you more accurate information that you requested is because he did not have critical information. Credit information, down payment, term requested etc. Please accept my apology for this issue. I know that we are all trying with everything going on in the world to make the process easier. Sorry that we were not able to take care of you on this purchase. Dave Pehrson Customer Relations Manager @801-269-6487.
That's not true, and it seems Luke has an issue responding to customers and presenting accurate information to his manager. I gave him my credit information, said I would consider financing through you all but also had my own credit union where I could get 2.99%. I informed him I was likely going to put $4,000 on the car, and he said that "was perfect because his lenders wouldn't want me to put more down than that." He never asked what term I wanted, but I had told him I'd like to stick around 48 months. Seems like Luke is either too busy or doesn't care enough to remember those conversations.

Crooks and Thieves
Stole my deposit and will not refund it. Dealer tried to add in over 3600.00 of additional fees from an extended service contract to other things that were not asked for. Was told deposit would be refunded and then that is when the lies started. From salesman to management, they are LIARS AND THIEVES!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY THEY WILL STEAL IT! EVEN DURING THIS PANDEMIC AND MONEY IS TIGHT , THEY DON’T CARE. I REPEAT........ DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!

I went in to purchase a Rogue with my daughter on 3/27/21. I was prequalified with Capital One Auto Finance and offered up my pre-qualification letter & Auto Navigator Finance Pass # in hopes it would be a haggle and hassle free experience. The dealership has a big sign out front welcoming Capital One customers so I assumed I was at the right place. The Capital One Auto Navigator App shows interest rate, terms, $ down, trade in value and estimates tax, title and license as well. You can modify those fields and come up with good idea of what the monthly payment will be. I was told by the dealership the value I was being offered for the trade in so I plugged in that number and knew approximately what my payment would be. After we test drove the vehicle, we sat down at the salesperson's desk, filled out a credit app (that's supposed to be submitted to Capital One) and he asked what payment amount we were looking for. I told him we wanted a payment that closely resembled what the app was telling me and the lower the better. He said "ok" and walked towards the finance office. When he came back he showed me all the different options I had with terms, down payment etc. and the monthly payment wasn't even close to what the app was showing me with the exact same values entered in. I asked why I wasn't getting the price and interest rate the app shows and he told me I would have to pay over $2,000 more for the car if I wanted the low interest rate the app was showing me or I could pay the advertised price (that even the Capital One app shows) and pay two points higher in interest. I told him I would only do a deal if I got the advertised price and interest the app was showing me. When he told me it wasn't possible I asked for my keys so I could leave. At that moment the sales manager came over and told me I was "being a hard xxx" and he wanted to explain why I'd need to pay more for the car or a higher interest rate. He explained they get incentives for using their preferred finance companies and I could refinance later and it would only cost me a few hundred bucks more. He bragged about being the number one used car dealership by volume and said how proud he is for being able to advertise prices so low. What good are low advertised prices if the customer has to pay two points higher than the norm in interest to get that price? Seems pretty shady to me. I told him I wasn't interested in playing their game and taking the time to refinance later. I said I would only do the deal from Capital One. He told me that wasn't possible so we left. I called Capital One to report the dealership's false advertising and for them trying to push me to use a different finance company, pay more for the car or a much higher interest rate. The app is the only reason I ended up at the dealership to begin with! It appears they use Capital One's app/technology to lure customers in and then do they old bait and switch! Capital One said the process is supposed to be easy, haggle/hassle free, go through Capital One Auto Finance and confirmed with me that the dealership never even submitted my application to them. The dealership did pull my credit though as I've received alerts from Credit Wise and Credit Karma. Avoid this dealership. Not only do they false-advertise, they also gaslight you and call you names if you don't want to agree to take their deal. What a horrible experience which is why I signed up for the haggle/hassle free deal to begin with!

Chad; I apologize that you had that experience at the dealership. We do offer special pricing on our used cars with our Nissan financing that is explained on all our used cars. We do offer the Capitol One specials only when the price of the car does not include the financing discount. It sounds like you wanted both and that is just not possible.
Yes, I did want both because that is what the Capital One app told me I would be getting. That is the only reason I ended up at your dealership to begin with. I used the Capital One app, not your website. No where on the app does it say I need to choose between price or interest rate. If you're not going to allow Capital One customers to get the price and interest rate that's listed on the Capital One app then you should think twice about being an authorized Capital One dealer. Better yet, why not adjust the price the app shows to avoid false advertising and a bad customer experience? I'm sure the reason has to do with bringing in more customers due to lowest advertised price which the app shows. The dealership is in the wrong in this situation and Capital One agrees. They told me that the price and interest rate the app shows should reflect what I'm actually getting at the dealership. They aren't happy that you try to dissuade customers from using their financing by upping the price and saying "you can have the lower price but need to use our lenders instead at 2 points higher". If the customer insists on Capital One financing you say "sure, but that will add $2,000 to the price of the car". If it seems shady, it probably is!

Took my vehicle for oil change; Tire rotation and transmission fluid service. Turns out that they didn’t rotated the tires and I let them know and they took back the vehicle inside to do that. My concern now is : if I noticed the tire rotation was not done : what about oil change and transmission Service ??? Do I need to take the vehicle to somewhere else and get a supervision about what they said have done in my vehicle just to make sure they did what they said ?? Now ; I think we don’t have to trust them 100% because they are skipping some process but they should be professional because they are the Dealerships and supposed to have a high standard quality in their service

I am very disappointed in Tim Dahle service . My daughter got a car last fall and has had nothing but problems. She took her car in last Saturday to see why her gear shift was sticking first they quoted her a very unfair price and then the service manager brought her the key and invoice for a car that wasn’t even hers . She has just gotten the run around and after 6 hours of waiting they still didn’t fix her car stay away from this dealership
