I’ve been bringing my car here for the last 4 years and

I’ve been bringing my car here for the last 4 years and I’ve always received excellent service. Leon, my service adviser is awesome. Very knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and pleasant. No matter what issue I call about he’s right on it scheduling and taking care of me. The waiting area is nice too. Clean and comfortable.

This was our first time purchasing a car at Sheehy, and

This was our first time purchasing a car at Sheehy, and the best car buying experience we’ve EVER had. Our salesperson, Bret was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and transparent. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs at an extremely competitive price. Our finance person was equally as friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. In the past, the car buying experience has taken all day. We were in and out in 2 hours! Sheehy will be our first stop the next time we need to purchase or lease a vehicle.

The only reason I didn’t give Sheehy VW 4-5 stars is

The only reason I didn’t give Sheehy VW 4-5 stars is that, after purchasing a 2025 Tiguan from the dealership on May 30, 2025, I have had the new vehicle in the service center 4 times as they have been trying to diagnose and resolve problems (“not available / working) with the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Cruise Control, Travel Assist and with CarPlay repeatedly disconnecting. Today, Sheehy has had our Tiguan for 61 days (not counting Sundays when the service center is closed). I credit Leon King (Service Rep), Robbie Basallote (Service Manager) and Milad Hajebi (Sales Manager) for being cooperative and professional as they have worked with regional VW counterparts to find a solution to our problems. However, the fact remains that we don’t have possession of our car, which met the criteria of the Motor Vehicle Warranty Enforcement Act (“Lemon Law”) weeks ago. Note: With the latest update that the new Tiguan needs a replacement radar sensor, in 9 days, Sheehy will have had our Tiguan for as many days as we had it in our possession.

Typical bait-and-switch false price.

Typical bait-and-switch false price. Like lots of dealers, they gave me a price on a new car that they coudl not actually do. Pretty typical but also sad - they need to sell these cars to someone and nobody is buying VW anymore!

Friendly people and the car is very nice but the EV tax

Friendly people and the car is very nice but the EV tax credit was not processed correctly. They did not include all the fees in the calculation for the credit like the IRS website says it should. I pointed this out and they said I was correct but there was nothing they could do about it. I am pleased with the car but am disappointed by the lack of knowledge and flexibility with the EV credit.

I recently used Sheehy VW Springfield’s online appraisal

I recently used Sheehy VW Springfield’s online appraisal tool to get a quote for my vehicle. After completing the online process, I was prompted to schedule an appointment through their system, which I did. However, no one ever contacted me to confirm or follow up. I decided to go to the dealership myself. After waiting for an entire hour—which is far too long for a simple appraisal—they came back with an offer that was over $3,200 less than what they had quoted me online that same day. When I asked about the drastic change, I was told, “The market can change quickly.” But how does the market change that dramatically in just a few hours? That explanation just didn’t add up. To make matters worse, their Accu-Trade report falsely claimed there was a scuff on my bumper, which was completely inaccurate. My vehicle is in near-perfect condition. I had also mentioned at the beginning that I was there for an appraisal and that I had already received multiple offers—including one from them. Still, they gave me a much lower offer in person. The entire experience felt like a bait and switch, and a complete waste of time. If you're looking for a dealership that values honesty and transparency, I would not recommend Sheehy VW Springfield.
