Well..., I tried calling about a Black 2012 Ford Fusion, with 47,000 miles and no answer. I traveled to the lot, only to find the car running in its last gasp and the dealer itself just operating on a “piss poor” attitude and not treating people with the respect they deserve! I find it funny that most of these side dealers try to act as they’re your best friend and just plain take advantage of you! Do yourselves a favor? Before you buy any car from any dealer, rent, buy or stream the movie “Used Cars” and I promise you..., you’ll never look at secondary lots the same way, ever again!

I don't know why I waste my time being lured in by the price tags. If you're looking for an educated group of sales people, look further. All they know is how to hustle. Make sure you check the oil for additives, the radiators for eggs and the transmission fluid for saw dust. I have seen all these types of quick save/ fix scams at this location. Need proof of intelligence... read the dealer's response to "Hawkeye auto in Marion Iowa is a piece of trash." It's "their" not "there" dipxxxx.

After three phone calls on a Honda CR-V and was promised no issues...I drove 3 hours from WI to test drive a car with no gas that died on the hiway in front and the VSA light came on, then I coasted in to the gas station next door. Put in 3 bucks off gas. Ok, I will check under the hood... Can't open it. Tried to clean the windshield, wipers worked like a dirty diaper. Radio didn't work. Miss matched tires. So far out of alignment it can turn a sharp left by taking your hands off the wheel. All is this joy... For xxxx $5,500!!! When I returned it... Luke was like ok.... Thanks

My son purchased a car from this so called dealership and four days after he purchased it had a rod break. Granted we all understand that almost all used cars/trucks are sold in as is condition but to have a catastrophic failure after four days is totally unacceptable. We contacted the dealership but we all but told that they were not responsible. The lions share of any reputable dealership would have at least made an attempt to make things right. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

I returned Hawkeye auto. The truck I wanted to buy was sold. I had a different salesman Luke. He explained the other salesman was inexperienced & overwhelmed. I understood, it was busy. Luke was great I purchased a better truck & I'm very happy. I may have overreacted on my first review. I would recommend Hawkeye auto .

Bought a $7000 vehicle through hawkeye. 2009 with 126,000 miles. Had it for three months and the engine completely blew out. I realize cars are sold as is but this is absolutely ridiculous. Shop unwilling to assist in any repair, cheaper labor, finding motor, etc. Was told car was an as is sale and was accused of not changing/checking oil. Highly upset I received such a poor quality vehicle and customer service. Never again would I go here or even recommend to an enemy. Dont get screwed over.

They flat out told me that they do NOT inspect the cars before they sell them. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!! RUN!!!! Bootleg mechanics they fix the car good enough so u will buy after u leave the lot the break down! Iowa should ban these types of businesses. God bless America & protect us from con artist like these guys!

I liked working with Christian at Hawkeye auto he wasn?t pressuring us into buying a car right away he made us feel like we were apart of the auto family . He answered all of our questions and before I bought the car he gave me a oil change and new filter I loved my experience at Hawkeye auto
