My son was looking for a car and he found the one he

My son was looking for a car and he found the one he liked okay. Well this car a Buick Verano just came onto the lot. Of course he drove and I drove it to to assure smooth shifting and what not. The process for him took just shy of 9 hrs! That's a xxxx of a long time to wait for a purchase. Granted it took me almost an hour to arrive and give an honest opinion of the vehicle my son was about to purchase on his own. Car checks out and all is good to go or so we thought. There's a check engine light on and it hasn't gone thru inspection but remember the car just arrived I was told. We were told that it's emissions related and that it's the fuel cap. Red flags when up for me when I heard emissions related issue! We were told that they would replace the cap do an inspection and then release the vehicle. This is not a knock on the dealership but I've never been to a place to buy a truck where I don't leave with a truck that I've signed all paperwork for, a car in this situation. Well long story short, son's gets his car 3 days later and he's a happy camper! I just thought I'd share our experience with Auto Nation Toyota South. Overall it was an experience but the young man got a vehicle he's happy with. That's all that matters at this point. That's my honest opinion.

Carl Sheidt was very helpful.

Carl Sheidt was very helpful. Recommended the required services only and took care of getting the car serviced well. I booked the appointment for 03rd March 2023 online two days before. There was an initial confusion about service advisor assignment for me, and so I had to wait about 25-30 minutes before speaking to the correct advisor (Carl) and handing over the car. But Carl Sheidt took care of it well, after that. He is very friendly as well, and very helpful, with the billing and paperwork too. I waited in the lounge while the service was done. I was able to use the WiFi and work while waiting for 2 hours. Enjoyed some coffee in between as well. It was my first time bringing the Toyota Highlander here for service after purchasing it in November 2022, and had a positive experience. Would re-visit again and recommend to others as well.

Routine check up

I was greeted as soon as I got there for my appointment. My service advisor was nice and reviewed with me what was going to be done to my car. The wait time was reasonable based on what was being done to my car. Over all great and easy experience.
