Zams Used Cars

I got into a minor accident and dented the front of my car, slightly crushing the hood and the small side panel. Since we had to pay the first $500 for our deductible, we wanted to find a reasonable auto body shop and get it done without involving the insurance company. There happen to be several body shops on the main street, near where we live. I prayed and asked the Lord to guide me to the one I should take the car to. Long story short, I was guided to Zam?s Used Cars. It?s a bit strange that I was led to a used car lot instead of a body shop, but I went in to inquire about where I could take my car to get it fixed. At first glance it doesn?t look like much of a place, but they do carry very well kept cars. I went in to ask if they knew of a good and reasonable place. It happened that Jay, the owner, had a body shop that burned down next to his office building, but he said that he was able to have his man work on it for a reasonable price. My car is an older model 1996 van, but he drove long distance to pick up the parts once he located them. The next day, his mechanics worked on it in frigid weather to get it back to me as soon as possible. In spite of the limited conditions the van came out nicely. Jay is very genuinely friendly and helpful. He has been in the business for a long time and seems to be trusted by many. When it warms up, we plan to take our daughter?s car and get it fixed and painted as well and he most likely will be the person we will go to and pick up a used car for our other children. Go check him out.

I was under the impression that these were honest people. However I have been very deceived. I bought a car in good faith and all I have been is screwed since then. There were repairs that needed to be done before I got the car which they then charged me to fix. These people do not have your best interest in mind. They come off very nice and pleasant but I would be very weary. I would recommend having a mechanic to come look at any of the cars before you purchase them and get a carfax on the car.

Never got a reply although I was interested in a Volvo and was willing to make the trip. Guess they don't want out of state $$$.

BUYER BEWARE! This used car dealership is like most others, will bend the truth or totally leave out information to make a sale. Nothing special here but the customer service, unfortunately it wasn't good enough to offset the problems that started rolling in after I drove off. Typical horror story of a used car purchase gone bad: ? As soon as I got the vehicle home the check engine light came on indicating the cooling system was faulty. Turns out it's a bad thermostat (don't know if the dealer knew this prior, but my guess is yes). ? The car had been cleaned and detailed as well as the engine BUT the oil and filter had not been changed (based on the fact that when I checked it the oil was black so when I changed the oil myself I checked the filter and found out it was old), the air filter had not been changed (I found this out by checking this myself based on the condition of the oil), the cabin filter had not been changed, the tires were deflated by 10 pounds, the trunk will not open, the gas cap door is busted, and who knows what else is going to pop up as I've only had the car for 3 weeks. I did drive the vehicle before I bought it but was purchasing out of town and could not take it to a repair shop for inspection as I didn't know anybody in Atlanta. Also: THEY CHARGE FOR TEMP TAGS, which is illegal and I still don't have my title. Nothing special with this dealership...keep moving.

As a consumer I shopped other lots, and called on ads of several auto's before selecting Zam's. My purchase was exactly what I wanted. The car was purchased close to 2 years ago with my tax money and is STILL on the road fuctioning in the same manner of which it was purchased - without incident. I visited the lot today, and brought along my daughter, because I know when she purchases an automobile, she will receive a great deal and a quality pre owned vehicle. Looking for an automobile? Unsure if youre going to find a lemon lot that will sell you used junk? Take a trip to Zams - I promise it will be worth your while.

I had a wonderful experience with Zam's Used Cars the personnel were great got an awesome vehicle. I love my vehicle, the service was great, it was not a hassle to shop here. I will recommend Zams used cars to anyone i know. I had a great experience and i'm sure anyone who comes here will have a great experience too and will leave satisfied.

One year ago I purchased a Honda Civic sedan and it was the best buy ever because I was buying my first car all by myself. It was a beautiful experience and to date I have had no problems with its performance. Today, a year later, my son purchased his first car from Zams Used Cars and Jay and Derric made it happen for him. As a parent I am so happy for him..he is so happy for his preowned Acura TL. I will recommend Zams to anyone who need a car.

I must say when I left my home I did not think I would come home with a car on the very first try. First of all the customer service was GREAT! I was able to find a car that I liked and fit my lifestyle...on the very first try...HOW GREAT IS THAT!! I will be referring all my friends that are searching. There are so many options.
