When you drive away feeling like a winner, you know you bought your car from the right place. I worked with Craig Suntrup Jr. and Sales Manager Brent Straub. Great service and reasonable negotiators. I would not go anywhere else. Start at BMW of West St. Louis first and I think you will agree, no need to go anywhere else.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. I worked with a sales associate named Adel on the purchase of a Used 2019 Ford Mustang GT. We agreed on an out-the-door price that included sales tax, which was confirmed in writing via text message. I also placed a $1,000 deposit to hold the car while it was being inspected after this was confirmed. When I returned to finalize the purchase on 10/30/25, the finance manager (Armin) told me the sales tax was not included and attempted to add roughly $3,000 to the agreed price. Even after showing them the written messages confirming the original out-the-door price, they refused to honor it. This experience felt deceptive and unprofessional. I had completed pre-approvals, credit checks, and acted in good faith based on our agreement. I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying from this dealership to get every detail in writing and be cautious when it comes time to sign paperwork. On top of all this, somebody from this dealership just called me, harassing me for leaving this review and essentially calling me an idiot for believing they would sell me a car for the price they agreed on Caller wouldn’t give his name or any information as to who he was after requested multiple times.

The proposals we provided did not include sales tax, which is clearly listed as $0 on the document you received. We understand how this situation could be frustrating and appreciate your feedback as we continue to ensure transparency in every step of the sales process.

Consumer response

Never once did I receive any paper work saying this. The only paperwork that was ever showed to me was at the dealership when I was signing for the car on 10/30/25. And of course no response to the harassment by your owner Craig Suntrup. Instead you’d rather hide behind your phone/keyboard and push a false narrative. This dealership is full of lies.

"Backed by our Lifetime Powertrain Protection" This line featured prominently in there ads. SCAM. Only if you drive to St. Louis to get the oil changed. Sales guy I spoke agreed with that it was a scam. Also, not certified. Avoid this place and the other Suntrup dealers. Who knows what else is hiding in the weeds with these guys.
