We are summer residents in the area.

We are summer residents in the area. Pohanka services our Toyota Sienna. Their welcome is friendly, smooth and efficient. This visit, they assessed the car's needs using their nationwide online records, while we relaxed in the clean and comfortable waiting area. We received a list of recommendations, selected what we wanted done, and rode their free shuttle to a store we wanted to visit. Errand completed, we called for a return shuttle. The waiting are provides comfortable seats, an area to use computers, free coffee, snack machines, and sparkly clean restrooms. It is a pleasure to come to Pohanka to have our vehicle sreviced.

Our salesman Marcus Jones was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our salesman Marcus Jones was friendly and knowledgeable. Marcus took the time to explain the many features of the Toyota Camry Hybrid we purchased. The final purchase paperwork was handled smoothly and the entire process went smoothly.

Much needed improvement

My wife and I waited three hours to have one tire replaced on our tundra. I had to check twice to see why it was taking so long no one came out,and told us anything until I asked service manager said they were having issues with the tire machine. Not once did anyone from service come to tell us they were going to be awhile. They made it very inconvenient on us so based on our service experience it was horrible.

Horrible

Horrible customer service by Mari in the Service department, no common courtesy at all. Tried calling multiple times to find out the status of my car.

Pretty good sales and service

These guys made the sales process easy which included my trade-in vehicle. Although the document signing process was a little long it was definitely worth the wait! Their service department is a little busy so be patient. It's a crazy labor market right now. They did a good job, communicated with me throughout most of the process, and their general manager is top-notch. I do recommend this dealership for both sales and service.

Terrible Service Experience; Avoid Them

I have had a problem with the sound system on a Toyota Avalon that I bought new from this dealer in Salisbury. After numerous times in their service department, they have not fixed the problem. Their Toyota engineers did not find an error code, so they stated they cannot fix the problem. The problem persists and the dealer is not willing to do anything to fix it. Avoid them and I'd avoid Toyota as well. You never know when you will have a problem they will ignore.

Never Again

Through the years my family has bought several vehicles from Pohanka and recommended the dealer to others. Then on 12/23/21 I purchased a ’17 “certified” Prius Prime from them. First minor problem: there was an issue getting a temp tag from DMV – obviously not Pohanka’s fault; however, having made an appointment to return the next week to get the temp tag, I arrived to find that nothing had been done and I sat at the dealership for over an hour before it was determined that I would have to come back again the following week. Second (less minor) problem: the first extended trip in the car resulted in significant water appearing on the passenger side floorboards even though driving in dry conditions. An appointment was made for the vehicle to be seen by their “Water Doctors” – drove over an hour to Pohanka at the scheduled time only to find that the Water Dr was not going to be in that day. They did evacuate the AC drain line as we guessed that was the most likely culprit, so now I get to wait and see if that solved the problem and if the stink of wet carpet will ever go away. Third (major) problem: Pohanka called to inform me that their finance office had made a mistake, and my monthly payment was going to increase. How is it possible, after signing a mountain of paperwork, that the terms can be changed over the phone?! I doubt I will stop buying Toyotas based on this one bad experience, but I will definitely stop buying from Pohanka; this dealership is not what it used to be.

How Shane and his manager made my Day

The young man who help me name was Shane Leatherbury.I'm a senior citizen and this was the first time I picked out a car by myself since my husband passed. Shane was so patience. He explained each step so I knew every detail.After I purchase my beautiful car.He explain the gadgets in the car and made sure I understood them. Thank Shane!!!.
