Disappointed customer
Since February of 2023 have been waiting for a back order part for a 2017 Acura RDX. The emergency horn goes off at random Acura’s solution until backorder part comes in is to disconnect the battery if annoying. We are so tired of having to leave church, being paged when shopping, not to mention the annoyance of being wakened mamy hours during the night with the horn honking and neighbors awakened by the horn. Acura has done NOTHING to appease our inconvenience of this annoyance. We are presently shopping for a new vehicle and We assure you it WONT be an Acura nor purchased from Vandergriff. !!!

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I took my car in for an oil change. Kevin told me that I needed an alignment. I chose to have them do a tire rotation and wanted to take my car to my regular dealership Hiley Acura and have them look at the car. However, Kevin came to me and said he needed to leave and another tech Randy was taking over. (However, Kevin was actually there the whole time!) I asked Randy to cancel the tire rotation and just do the oil change. He went back and said he caught them in time. However, when I checked out, Randy said that they actually did the tire rotation. I had been waiting for over 2 hours and had an appointment I needed to make. I should have checked my tires before I left (that's on me), but needed to leave. They did NOT do the tire rotation but charged me for it. I called right away and told Randy I was really upset. He asked me if I wanted a refund. Um, yes, you charged me for work you did NOT do! I told him I could come directly up there and show him. He said he would call me back after talking to his manager. That was on 5/2. It's now 4 days later...no call and no refund. I have left several message. Guess I need to file with my credit card for fraud! Do NOT take your car here.

They get should get no stars as there is nothing but darkness and disappointment. Force to put 1 star Twice I have set an appointment to so concierge for my wife's car to be picked up. Zaktek and other services. No loaner needed (which is a favor for them as it will be available to someone else). Pick up can be 7am and needs to be back at 7pm when she gets off. She works 4 miles from the dealership. Last time Ricky the service manager had to run the car himself. It was not done before the valets all left. Ricky Sandoval was a stand up do it all guy. Huge loss to their organization. This time it happens again. My options they gave me are 1. Get her car tomorrow? How does she get to work and home tonight? 2. Offered to uber her home and get the car to her tomorrow. How does she get to work? Offered to Uber her in the morning just have her call. At 6am? nobody to take the call to get her Uber. 3. I had to tell them to leave the keys with receptionist and Uber my wife to the dealership. Which is a huge inconvenience for someone who just worked 12 hours in an ER. Was told this was my fault btw. I did not answer their call at 3:16pm. I called back at 4:45 and needed the car back to my wife at 7pm. No way that could happen from their efforts? Because they let Ricky Sandoval find a better opportunity and nobody else stepped up to put the customer first.

Sad, disappointed with purchase
Be careful when buying a used car from this dealership. Engine scanner said car mileage 140k, engine mileage 256k. It was never mentioned to me

Advertised Stock # ML033760 2021 RDX for $44,914. I emailed the dealership asking for all added fees. Osvaldo Lopez replied and questioned what fees I was asking about. I could not get a straight answer. I drove over 40 miles from Plano and test drove the car. I liked it and when they brought me the offer they added over $5000 in reconditioning and other hidden fees .The fees made the car over $50.000. This was not including TT&L. this is a dis honest "Bait and Switch". Park Place and Goodsen Acura's online price is the price. Thanks for wasting my time Osvaldo and Vandergriff Acura. I even showed them the work sheet from Goodsen on Stock # LML03923 showing nothing other than TT&L. The sale manager blew me off and walked away. The advertised price on line is "Bait and Switch". Do yourself a favor and buy from anyone other than Vandergriff Acura. I am sure this deceptive business model goes on at all their dealerships.

RUN!
RUN!!! STAFF FULL OF LIARS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They give you the run around with prices, and if the they service your vehicle and the problem is not solved, don't look for a refund or even quality service to look into your issue deeper. They are excellent at giving the customer ALOT of excuses, it's almost as if they are reading a script. It's laughable. If I could give less than one star I definitely would. The only service they seem competent to do is an oil change and tire rotation. Vandergriff Acura do better.

Bad Dealer Tatics
Don't fall for their car-selling tactics! The "I already checked with the manager deal" because what will happen is they would check with the manager and make a deal but as soon as they run a hard inquiry on your credit with several loan companies, the deal changes and they cannot honor the deal. Then the finance department got me with the "this is the agreed terms" and it was a low interest and low payments I signed off on everything and they ran my credit. Come to find out, that Monday, the top guy, Oludare Adebanjo called me back again to tell me that they couldn't agree to the terms that I signed and finalized. They allowed me to leave the dealership and told me I had to come back and sign a new contract! I should've not signed the new contract and allowed the original contract to stay legally bearing but they were covering their malpractice. I went from a 7.75% deal to almost 13% interest with the new contract. Go in with your own finance from a bank and not with them. 6 months later I came back in to see if I could refinance with them and they made it sound like they were confident I could get a lower APR because they talked with the manager. They ran my credit, I waited in the cold sitting area by that soda machine then they all gathered in an office for a meeting all of them came out and he broke the news to me that the refinance APR wasn't a good deal. Don't fall for the empty promises they make before they run your credit. Right after I left the dealership, I used Upstart and got my APR and monthly payments lower than what they offered.
