I pulled out with a LEMON, needing a new engine!

Initially, when I wrote my review for Major Auto Show, I was excited and over the moon to have purchased a car, after not having a car for a while. If you are reading this then you just like me are doing your due diligence before purchasing a car from any car dealership in NYC. Here is where the problem began: April 24th- Purchased the car with a certified check April 28th- Took the car for an extensive drive and the check engine light came on April 29th- Reported check engine light to the shop April 29th- Took the car to the shop and was told oh it’s a problem with the fuse or some BS, the car gets checked and read codes, I was told this problem is nothing new we know how to fix it (total BS) May 4th- Picked car up from the shop and was told oh it’s working fine, I test drove it and drove it for the weekend (I went out of town and was planning to break in my new car by taking it on the highway. Thank goodness I did not!) August 23rd - Check engine light comes on AGAIN! August 27th - Took the car to Premier Ford and found out I need a NEW ENGINE! On August 23rd, the check engine light came on AGAIN! But instead, this time on August 27th, I took the vehicle to Premier Ford because if you’re like me you are wondering wait a minute why is this check engine light back on?! I thought Major Auto Show fixed the car? WRONG!!! Premier Ford calls and tells me I need a new engine and provides me with codes they read from the vehicle which states “Performed IDS Test Found DTC codes P0304 - Cylinder 4 misfire detected, P0316, P219A - Bank 1 Fuel Ratio Imbalance. Coolant in top of the pistons - VEHICLE NEEDS ENGINE” 4 MONTHS after buying a car from Major Auto Show and the car needs a NEW ENGINE! I am beyond pissed off, I will never in my life buy another car from Major Auto Show, anyone reading this review please be aware and sure to have the car checked out by someone who is not looking to gain a quick sale from you. Yes, I also reached out to the shop after receiving this news and the nonchalant response I received was enough to let me know these fools knew all along this car’s engine was in terrible condition and put a bandaid over an open wound and called themselves “fixing it.” Thank you Major Auto Show for putting me out of more money when if I knew then what I know now I would have saved the rest of my hard-earned money and went somewhere else to buy my new vehicle. So far I’ve spent almost half the amount I paid for the car in repairs that could’ve been avoided had they just put the proper time and effort into fixing it, to begin with, or had they not been so money hungry and deceitful to be selling LEMONS! And it HASN’T even been 6 months yet!!! My advice is don’t shop here unless you enjoy wasting your money.

Five Star Service!!

I don't typically write reviews often but the level of service that i received during my visit made me want to say "thank you" by writing this review. The gentleman who assisted me, Chris, was very knowledgeable, proffessional and explained every step that would be taken to get me into the car of my choice. I was on the edge on the type of of vehicule that i met my needs. Chris took the time to listen and helped recommend an mid sized SUV that met my needs based on our conversation. He knew the car was a little bit out of my budget but was very willing to work with me. I ultimately didn't purchase the car as i wanted to a little more time to discuss with my spouse the options. If i do decide to purchase a car, it will definelty be here. I definitely recommend this dealership to my family, friends, and anyone else in the area looking to purchase a car.

great service

I will highly recommend this place ! I went to buy a used Chrysler Sebring and Chris and his staff helped me as much as they can especially with helping with the minor downsides of the vehicle. I was extremely excited and impatient for the car and Chris met the needs and had the patience and helped and give me referral to other resources I may need

Happy with experience

I came here to purchase my car and Chris and Billy were very helpful. They fully checked that everything was good, fixed whatever needed to be fixed and gave great service. They also take care of anything is anything does go wrong. Definitely would recommend
