Excellent used car buying experience
My son had just recently graduated High School. We were in search of a used car that was mechanically sound & would last through his college education. We had the pleasant experience of having Mr. Davis Dunn as our sales representative. Davis made us feel at ease very quickly. He was very attentive to what type of vehicle we were seeking & more importantly, our budget limits. Davis worked hard to find a car that met all of our requests. He contacted us & we test drove the car & it was a done deal. This car buying experience was as smooth as I have ever experienced. I will suggest Davis Dunn at David McDavid Honda in Irving TX to all my friends & family.

Bad Sales Experience
Went there to look for a car today, found their approach very unprofessional, have bought car over the last two decades in multiple cities and countries but this has to be the worst experience. The sales folks did not seem to know what they were selling too well and almost seemed like they wanted to bully us to make a decision. I had a close friend with us also he also had the same comment.

Excellent Sales Team
My wife and I had a very pleasant, no hassle visit with Mike Lee(salesman) along with support from the Magic man Mr.Lacy! We were able to secure a good deal and that’s not said lightly coming from an experienced car buyer. FYI we purchased a 2016 HR-V CVT and we are very pleased with the ride and especialy the deal! ,

Lies, deceit and forgery to sell a vehicle
My wife and I bought a new Honda in 2014 from Mcdavid in Irving. Fast forward to Feb of 2016. She goes in for an oil change and estimate on a minor accident. The finance manager sees her waiting. She was having problems due to McDavid not sending her the booklet for free oil changes. He mentioned that she should consider buying a new Honda. She said she was happy with what she had. He kept on. During the next 4 hours she said no deal and ask for her keys back 3 times. Each time they brough someone else out to talk to her. After 4 hours of talking an lots of lies a deal was made for a $500.00 sign and trade. When she is signing the paper work it showed a $3370.00 down payment. My wife questioned this. The finance employee tells her they had to move some numbers around to make it look right. A few days later I ask her how much of a refund she got for her Gap protection, extended warranty and dent protection. The car was only 18 months old and had 12,000 miles on it. She said nothing. I ask.her if it was mentioned. She said no. I called the dealership and was told in so many words that my wife was wrong and was lying. They said she had signed papers applying the $2870.00 refund to her down payment. My wife said she was never told of this. We requested the form that she signed. My wife took one look at it and said that's not my signature. McDavid said it was. So we sent all of the paperwork to a very well respected handwriting expert. A few days later she called and said it was not my wife's signature. It was a 100% forgery. It took 3 weeks to get a meeting with the general manager. He agreed it was forged. They sent us a check for the $575.00 it cost for the handwriting analysis. After that they have completely disrespected us and told us we were not entitled to anything more then the differance in the price of vehicles. We were told the employee has been fired. But they will not give us his name so we can file charges. We are in the process of getting a lawyer and getting the media involved. If you know of anyone who has bought a vehicle from McDavid and traded one in let them know about this. They do not give the customer the cancelation form giving McDavid the refund.

Smooth Sailing & an Amazing Experience
My wife and I had been researching a new car purchase for months, so when we were involved in a car wreck, we accelerated our new -car purchase timetable. After more research, we used TrueCar.com to connect with local dealerships on a 2016 Honda Civic Touring. Sohaib and David McDavid of Irving were the first to reach out to us with an incredible price, which we soon accepted. After dicussing further details, we arrived at the dealership the following day and were pleasantly surprised to close our deal exactly as we had previously discussed by email. We were amazed and grateful that Sohaib's actions reinforced his rhetoric through the emails. Three weeks later and a loaner in the interim, we picked up our new car and could not be happier with the vehicle, the service, and the entire process from start to finish. We could not recommend Sohaib and McDavid of Irving more highly. You will not be disappointed with your experience - this dealership does not try any tricks, keeps to their word, and does everything within their power (and more!) to ensure you are comfortable, happy, and satisfied with the entire process. More dealerships should be like this, and Sohaib is the model dealer. It was a pleasure working with him.

Horrible finance manager named Chris....
I've purchased 3 cars from your dealership in the past; however after my last visit you have lost a repeat customer. My husband and I came to trade in our vehicle and do an upgrade. After negotiating a price with the sales person the finance manger attempted to use his poor negotiating and communication skills. He spoke to us very condescending and at one point insulted our intelligence. In the past our visit has always been very hospitable and that is why we choose to become repeat consumers. Never again will I purchase a vehicle from your company nor will I recommend anyone to do business with you.

sales person didn't know car was gone
Sales team is not good and they didn't know internally that car had been already sold. Even the Internet salesman didn't know. Also knowing my requirements I had to ask them to check for other cars which can fit my requirements instead of them doing it. Bad overall experience.
