Poor Service. Lack of Concern.

Yesterday, while driving on I-4 the tire sensor on my 2015 C300 alerted me that my back right tire was going flat. I live two hours away from where this occurred. I pulled over and called the closest Mercedes-Benz dealership, which happened to be Fields Motorcars in Lakeland. I was advised that the service department was closed and I should seek assistance elsewhere. There was no mention of the lifetime roadside service or even the courtesy of providing me with the name of other auto service companies that may be able to assist me. I limped into Discount Auto Tires in Lakeland where I was treated respectfully and although the business was within minutes of closing, the employees offered to stay late to assist me with a tire change. Unfortunately, they did not have the Pirelli run-flat tire that I needed in stock. They pumped up my tire and the customer service agent stated he would call around a find the tire needed and let me know what to do and where to go in the morning. The Discount Auto Tires representative called me this morning and informed me the Fields Motorcars had the tire. Ironic that a representative from a competitor sent me back to where I had been turned away just the day before. Here is the kicker: Fields Motorcars charged me for the replacement run-flat tire that is under warranty and should have been replaced at only the cost of the service. When I questioned Fields Motorcars regarding the warranty that was confirmed by a Pirelli consumer agent, I was told by the Fields Motorcars representative that they had no idea what I was talking about. This leads me to believe that they have charged other customers for tires that they should not have. Fields provided poor service, lack of concern and a willful ignorance of product knowledge.

Service

My car is a 2003 CLK500 and it is beautiful! I know it is old and needs some tender love and care. I really like my car and want to keep it and enjoy it as long as possible. They made sure my car was safe to drive before I picked it up. I am planning on letting them contintinue to take care of it. Everyone was very kind to me.

Fields Motorcars

I took my vehicle in for service, the service department was very good. I purchased my vehicle in January, had to replace my tires in 10,000 miles, first time that has happened to me, got a bad deal on that from the sales department ( who would not pay but 1/4 of my bill) whom I think should have paid the whole bill... Thanks to the service department for the good service. I was upset at the beginning... But I left in good spirit...Again Thanks service department

Service for my C250

I made my appointment for a B- service for my wife's car a week in advance because that was the earliest date that I would be certain to get a loaner car. When I arrived I was told they didn't have any loaner cars available. Jeff made a promise he had no intention of following through with. Alexandra was told to help me . She was awesome, she tried to get a loaner but all loaners were gone. She then made arrangements to get me a rental car. I was able to make my appointments for that day because she did her job. Thank you Alexandra. Jeff is probably very good at what he does, but he let me down that day. The fact that they even offer loaner cars is awesome and very much appreciated.

Best car buying experience - Fields Mercedes

This is the 4th car I have purchased from Fields, and it doesn't even compare to other car buying experiences. Their staff welcomes you the minute you step out of your vehicle and every step of the way afterward. My sales person in the past was Carl Lockhart who I can't say enough about. His wonderful customer service and professionalism earned him a promotion, but he place me in excellent hands with Gary Breesman. Gary, reserved the car I wanted which sped up the process with the paperwork. I was in and out of there with my vehicle in a little over an hour. poor communication service

i contacted the dealership looking for a mercedes benz ml 350 2015 somebody contacted me and ask what i was looking for which i told him ( forget the guys name ) then a few days later somebody else contact me and asked if the guy had been in touch i said NO then i got the same call again a few days later to ask if the guy had been in touch i said NO he had not still waiting for somebody to call me

Lakeland Mercedes provides a great experience

A Great Experience

My overall experience for service received during my 30,000 mile service was great. I did not purchase a new car, however I did purchase an extended warranty on my 2013 ML350 SUV, and the time spent with Greg was informative and a good experience for both my husband and I.

GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE

20,000 service call

They are very courteous and very professional. Only thing I would do different next time, they should of let me have a loaner. My appointment was at 9am I didn't get out until approximately 12:30 and they said it was going to take 1 1/2 hours.

Repair of Mercedes SLK

Although the service department had to keep the car several days waiting for parts from Germany, the service advisor kept us informed of the progress. The car was washed and ready on the day the repairs were finally completed. My only complaint is with the unprofessional dress and behavior of the women with whom one has to deal to sign out, etc.
