Automaxx of the Carolinas

I came in from Atlanta Georgia to the Automaxx of the Carolinas. I worked with Tabbi. She was great ! Very helpful and provided assistance navigating around Summerville regarding restaurants etc. I did not buy there vehicle. But their customer follow up and service was good.

Megan was wonderful to work with on our purchase. Kept us informed with trade ins and knowledgeable of the purchase vehicle. Financing was easy. Every step was explained and no pressure to purchase extras. This was our second vehicle from them and completely satisfied with our experience.

Bought a car in 2020. Good Experience. Fast forward to 2023... Things have changed. There are new fees they tack on not advertised on their website. In this case $800+ for some Lojack system BS. So its $550 doc fee + $800 Lojack. I am told these are not optional. The final sales price will not be what you are expecting. Drove 3hrs to learn this (asked about fees before the drive). To make matters worse, the truck was in bad shape, started shaking heavily around 70mph. Sales manager response was "well it does have 120k miles on it." Sales rep immediately sent it into shop after test drive. Bottom line, this place will tell you anything to get you in the door, then add hidden fees (the Lojack BS) on the final price and then try and sell you a warranty. Unfortunately, greed has taken over this "family" dealership.

Charges like LoJack are required, which is illegal. Customer service from the financial rep was terrible. I kept asking for $500 in “required” add-ons to be taken off, but they said they we have to keep them to purchase the vehicle.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Keem Woods as my salesperson and when I tell you he was one of the best Believe Me!!!! From the time I entered the dealership to the time I got done purchasing my car he was phenomenal. He made sure that I was taken care of with everything that was promised. I couldnt drive at the time so I was picked up, taken to the dealership and brought back home with my vehicle. You couldnt get good service like this everywhere. I would highly recommend Harkeem Woods as your salesperson!!!!

Sami did a remarkable job helping me select the right vehicle. He was knowledgeable, courteous and was singularly focused on helping me while I was in the dealership. I believe in all my years of car purchases, Sami was the best salesperson I’ve had.

Went car shopping found Dave and this wonderful dealership. They made everything so easy. Found a wonderful car. Great salesman very happy! matter fact going back for another car. Next week for another family member. It’s a great family business

They are dishonest and do not back their warranty. I’ve had my car 1 month and it’s been in the shop twice. I would never buy a car there again. Dishonest.
