Our OLD Chevy repair gone WRONG
Simi Valley Buick/GMC had our 1999 Chevy Suburban for 11 days. I was in touch with the service dept. 10 of the days. On the LAST day, the day of our pick up, I was told there was a $1400.00 OVER RUN in the cost. The service dept. had NOT been told of some of the repairs made. The original estimate was $3700.00 and to add $1400.00 on top of that with out our permission or knowledge was not at all acceptable. The service manager (who I had to INSIST come and talk to us) was very little help. We have been taking our car there for years, but will NOT be going back or referring friends and family to them.

Car maintenance- simi gmc
Not enough staff to handle traffic on weekends. Asked to have two items taken care of, both completely ignored. I have limited time to fix repairs given that I don?t have childcare. Considering taking car somewhere else for maintenance.

Quick work, polite staff, but surprised by high $$
I was a little surprised to bring my car in for a regular service and be hit with over $1000 with suggested work. Even a simple passenger side bulb replacement, which was done on a previous day for only $40 was somehow inflated to $140 because "it's a lot more work that you would think". This raised a bit of a red flag with me, especially around the holidays. I might have to shop around a little bit instead of coming back. On the bright side, the staff is always helpful and polite.
