We have bought a variety of different used vehicles for several members of my family. We have always had good service working with these guys. We will always come back. These guys are a busy family owned business that has worked hard at what they are doing. They have always been able to answer my questions. Lots of thanks.

Returning satisfied customer!!!
Upfront, honest, reliable, family business that I have returned to several times over the past 7 years. I drive over 125 miles one way and am never disappointed. With a vast selection of per owned cars and pickups there is something for everyone!!! See you again and thank you for the great service even after the sale is final!!!

Should have checked to reviews here first!
My son bought a 2002 jeep liberty from these clowns, he had it for 3 weeks and drove less than 200 miles before it broke down on his way home from college. Turns out the heads are shot, and the repair bill is a minimum of $2500 if we buy a used engine with 120,000 miles on it. We called Spaulding Auto and his son said he would have his daddy call us back asap, he never did. A week later when we finally got ahold of him he said "that car was sold as is" and hung up on me.

This jeep was sold as is and all of my customers are allowed to drive and check them as much as they want we don't pressure them into buying anything. We try to tell as much information about each one as we know. This jeep was working fine when it left. This truck had been driven many miles by our own staff and never had an issue. Who am I to know weather it was mechanical or operator failure. We were called and told of the issue and I told her that we could possibly locate parts but this vehicle that was sold as-is. And we don't know how this jeep was treated in the time that they had it. We are not responsible for poor judgment while driving. (could have been the water pump or thermostat but was driven a distance while it was hot until it wouldn't go any more and died as stated by their mechanic.) We buy all of our vehicles as is and sell them this way. BUT we try to find out as much about them as possible. We also encourage our customers to bring a friend or a mechanic to help you make your decision. The purchaser has to be sure to maintain and keep an eye on their investment.
Not Worth The Drive
I drove 60 or so miles to look at a used car that I had seen on line. When I arrived they had the car out for me to look at but it was not in very good shape. Mr. Spalding greeted me but then proceeded to ignore me as he walked away to talk to his "good old boys" about a Corvette they had sitting there with the hood up. I did speak to Austin, his son, who was very nice and seemed to want to assist me. But after looking at the acres of cars they had for sale (most of them in poor to fair shape) I left without a vehicle.

Do not buy from this dealer!
Yesterday I bought a 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada from brett spaulding sales. I took it for a test drive and everything worked fine except there was a antifreeze smell when you turned on the heater. They told me that the engine had all the gaskets changed due to a head gasket leak, and that the transmission had been rebuilt. Got it paid for and drove 20 miles out and the transmission went out, iradically changing gears and running at 5000 rpm's going 50 mph. finally limped it the rest of the way home driving 25mph and immediately tried calling them but they kept telling me they would call back when the owner/ mechanic got in. They never called back. I finally got ahold of them today after numerous phone calls and they would not work with me at all. I got an estimate to fix the transmission and they wouldn't even help pay to fix it. He told me I was SOL and hung up on me. This is not the way you treat people. I had the car for a HALF HOUR and it isn't running right and they wont even try and help out. In my opinion, if you are looking for a car, STAY AWAY from this dealer!

Thanks for leaving the review, though a little one sided. We have a vast inventory of vehicles fitting all price ranges. Certain older vehicles are sold at exceptionally low prices with known mechanical issues and we disclose ALL of that info to the buyer prior to sale. When selling this vehicle we disclosed, among other things, that the transmission had been replaced with a USED one, not rebuilt - and that it would likely not hold up long. (again, priced accordingly) We did offer, and have continued offer to fix the transmission at a discounted rate, which you?ve refused. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a repair.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I DO NOT reccomend this dealership to ANYONE! I don't care how cheap and good the cars are, the customer service is the most awful I have ever expierienced! I called to ask some questions about a car I saw online, and the man on the other line seemed as if I was a complete bother to him. I asked what the possibility of trading my car with one of his would be, and I started to describe my car, and it does have some rust, so I told him that, and right after I said that, the man said in the MOST RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL tone, "oh.. forget about it!" and HUNG up on me! I understand, maybe it was silly for me to ask to trade, but I was just asking and he FOR SURE could have been more polite about it. Even before I asked, he was rude to me! I also had wrote an email expressing interest in the car, before talking to him on the phone and the reply I got was SO rude and short! I asked if there was anything else wrong with the vehicle, and he wrote me back.. "Didnt you bother to read the write up about Its?? all in there!!" word for word, NOT professional, at all!

We don't recall this situation, but you seem justified in being upset. We are a family owned business that prides ourselves on treating people honestly, fairly, and with respect. I, the owner, would like to personally address any concerns you may have with how you were treated. Please contact me at the dealership and we will work to make this right. Thanks, Brett
