I am sooooo pleased with the customer service and inventory that J&R has we were treated like good old friends . We have now purchased 4 vehicles form them and they stand behind there product. Keep up the good job. Even the older gentilmen helped us with a sale after the shop was closed . THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

Patient Sales People

The lot is good and the sales people were exceptional. We went between the East and West lots looking at small fuel efficient SUVs. Dave and Scott were a lot of help telling us what was in their inventory and letting us test drive multiple vehicles. We eventually bought a Buick Rainer that we had not even looked at but saw the first time. My God what a process that was trying to decide between so many that fit what we were looking for.

2007 Dodge Durango

I had been specifically looking for a rust free low mileage 2007-09 Dodge Durango with 4wd in a SLT or Adventurer package and most of the creature comforts you would expect. I live out of state (Wisconsin) and it is difficult to find a rust free low mileage Durango. Anyway, I spoke with Scott (Old man) over the phone 5 or 6 times and felt like this was the Durango I wanted. Mechanically it is very sound and the interior is fairly clean except for a couple of cheesy repairs made inside. The body on the other hand, not so much. When I personally inspected the SUV I found some flaws in the body that were not disclosed to me. None of them were a deal breaker and I was able to negotiate a slightly better price. How ever, after I drove it home and the next day was a sunny day, I could see there was some minor to moderate body damage that was poorly repaired and some peeling paint that looked like the body shop did a cheap repair of the damage on the passenger side rear door and fender flare. I felt like Scott should have been more forth coming about those issues. I was already planning on getting some body work done and part of it repainted. All in all I am still happy with my decision to buy the vehicle as it drives very nicely and looks very sharp from a distance. I am very picky and will get the necessary auto body and paint job done right because it is a very beautiful SUV in spite of the flaws and I have already owned a Durango and think the quality of that SUV flies under the radar. I would recommend J and R auto sales. Make sure you know what you want and decide a fair price ahead of time. Thank you Scott and Randy, I am a satisfied customer. I am not your normal used car customer. I shop hard and negotiate good prices.

Honda Pilot - great car, not so great service

We recently spotted a Honda Pilot on their lot and investigated the car to see it would be a good fit for our family. After a test-drive, we noticed the gas light come on and the turn signal was out. Immediately Tom fixed the tail light, and though they offered to put gas in it, that never happened. We had it inspected at our regular Auto shop and they noticed that the timing belt had never been done and the car was over 112k. We negotiated to take half of what it would cost to have the timing belt done off the price, and when it came time to signing the papers, we still walked away with an empty tank. When I asked about it, I just got a "well, we did take the price down for the timing belt.." It would have been better if he as simply said, "hey, sorry I forgot about that, let me send you out with a gas card." or, "it was at your shop being looked at most of the day so that got missed, but don't worry, I'll go fill it up for you now before you go." His response seemed more upset that we were asking for something big, but really I was just hoping he would keep his word on putting gas in the car.

Thanks for hooking me up with my new Honda Element!

I have always liked the look and ride of the Element, but I was not planning on purchasing one anytime soon. I wanted a bigger vehicle for a while (for our three four-legged furry children) and just happened to drive past the east 10th St lot and saw the car I've always wanted! The price was right and the color couldn't be more perfect ;) Brian and Ethan were a pleasure to work with and provided entertainment as well. They were very helpful and Ethan worked hard to get me the best interest rate-on Memorial Day weekend no less! The guys at J&R are very laid back and NON-pressuring, which is refreshing to see at a used car dealership. I'd recommend them to anyone.

2006 Equonox

These guys are great! I was browsing online for a car, i came upon this site and found a few cars i liked. I called that morning (April 14) and by that afternoon I was driving my vehicle.
