The first time in the new service center.

The first time in the new service center. i had my car there for its 7,500 miles, oil change and tire rotation, etc. Your service advisor Chris, was top notch, and kept me informed the whole time my car was being serviced. The waiting area was comfortable, free wi fi while waiting, free coffee, water and snacks were a nice touch also. The lady, sorry did not catch her name that checked me out at the counter when my car was ready was real friendly and helpful as well and let me know when my car had been brought around. In all, your Service department made my wait and experience there more enjoyable. Thank you.

I ended up leaving without the work done because I was

I ended up leaving without the work done because I was told it would take 30 minutes up to an hour and after 3 1/2 hours of continuously being told it would be another 15 or 20 minutes I just asked for my car back. The waiting room was full of angry people, most were just there for an oil change and it was over four hours! Poor Management of the Appointments I guess.

Appointment was for an oil change.

Appointment was for an oil change. Upon arrival I requested an additional service - diagnose an anomaly in my steering wheel. This was performed satisfactorily. Communication with service writer was fine.

We really want to thank Chase for being our advisor during the service of my Sonata. He was very professional and personable and made us feel very comfortable and confident that my car was in great hands. We had A LOT of work done and the car was in the service department all day. Chase kept us informed along the way and let us know in what stage the car was in. He was there when we got there and also when we left. Very positive experience.

Very positive experience. Jim was the best. He estimated a time my car would finished and it was very close. He is very helpful as well as very personable. Overall the waiting room is very comfortable, so for long waits it is very nice and the provided snacks are an added convenience. Getting one’s car worked is not as bad as a dental appointment but having a nice person and nice surroundings makes it bearable. Keep up the good work.

I had called days earlier and made a 10:00am appointment

I had called days earlier and made a 10:00am appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I waited for the service to be done at the dealership. At 11:30 I went to the service advisor and asked when my car would be ready. They said it was still being worked on or it was still in line to be. I asked them to go talk to the technician(s) and find me a time. She came back and said another 30 to 35 minutes. I explained my displeasure with that timeline, saying at other dealerships it only took 1 to 1 1/2 hours. She was not concerned with my complaint. I asked to see the service manager and was told he was out, not in his office. Thirty minutes later he was back. I had asked that he come get me in the waiting room, but I had to go see of he was back myself. I explained that when I have an appointment, I expect there to be technicians waiting for me and my vehicle to start the service. If I had just driven to the dealership with no appointment then I would expect a large waiting time. Ig you Google how long an oil change and tire rotation should take the answer is typically around one hour! An oil Change 20 - 45 minutes, tire rotation 15 -45 minutes. Giving them each the 45 minute time is 1 1/2 hour. The service manager Pedro, stated it was the holiday season with employees out sick and on vacation. I said they needed better time management and maybe not schedule so many vehicles that customers get upset with the wait time. A "time management and work hours study" is a research investigation that analyzes how individuals manage their time within their work schedule, often examining factors like the number of hours worked, task prioritization, breaks taken, distractions encountered, and the impact on overall productivity and well-being, with the goal of identifying areas for improvement in work practices and time management strategies. Finally my car was ready at 12:28pm for a total of 2 1/2 hours. I will not be using Folsom Lake Hyundai Service again. When I called for my appointment, if they knew they were overwhelmed by services, they should have told me or asked if I could wait another week or two for this routine maintenance. Yes I expect a NASCAR type pit crew standing by when I have a scheduled appointment! Anything less is unacceptable!
