Don't ever buy anything from this dealership, you will

Don't ever buy anything from this dealership, you will get screwed. In November I bought a 2017 GMC truck for my grandson. Less than 3 weeks later the transmission needed to be replaced. I had purchased a warranty which Rick said was bumper to bumper with $100 deductible. But, when tranny went out they would not fix it, said I had to take it to chevrolet dealership so I did. Found out bolts in tranny had been cut off, underbody had been heavily painted to cover up all the major rust, even had painted over the oil plug. The chevy dealership had to spend extra labor hours because of this which cost me $2400 out of pocket because warranty (Freedom Warranty) was not what Rick said it was. These people took advantage of a 75 y/o woman who was trying to help her grandson. MY opinion, they are scammers. Never buy anything from this dealership.

Best dealship to purchase from

For anyone looking for a sales person to go above and beyond, you need to visit Rick Harris at Brookbank Auto Exchange. They are located in Summerfield, NC. I live in Central VA. I contacted found a truck that I liked on Facebook marketplace (2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD) so I reached out for a quick quote on a vehicle I wanted to trade in and Rick was very quick to respond. Rick was extremely professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get my payment within a very close margin of what I had asked for with, not to mention with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. I've been to local dealerships large and small that had much more staff and they were not nearly as eager to help me. Rick was very timely in his responses for any questions I may have had and was more than fair with his offer for the vehicle I traded which I might add was 16 years old and had high mileage with body damage. Even though I was out of state trying to purchase a vehicle from brookbank auto, Rick treated me aa though I was a neighbor he had known for years, I can't not stress how helpful he was with the entire process of purchasing a truck from brookbank auto. In fact every staff member that I had dealings with at brookbank auto treated me as though I belonged. In short if your looking for a dealership that you can trust and sales that will go above and beyond to help you purchase a new vehicle go see Rick Harris at Brookbank Auto Exchange. Rick thanks again for all the help I will do my best to send more customers your way.

BrookBank Auto

I recently made a purchase from BrookBank Auto. It was a very pleasant experience. Probably the easiest purchase on a automobile in my life . All staff were courteous, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. I am from out of state and they were very helpful in answering my questions. I was in and out quickly , so I could get back on my way to my hometown . I called my insurance company the next day , but to my avail they were a step a head of me and had already got in touch with the insurance company and given them the information ! Best purchase I have ever made . Would definitely buy from them in the future , and recommend them highly. Both Rick and Tom are just down to earth folks ! ! Thanks for your kind service !😊😊😊😊😊

BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE!! I recently purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with very low miles that was claimed to be "mint condition with no issues at all". The pictures online seemed to match their description so I went through with the transaction and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to trade a vehicle in on it. As soon as I saw the truck in person I realized I was lied to. Almost every body panel on the truck had some sort of dent/scratch. I tried backing out of the deal but Brookbank told me I would be looking at over $3000 worth of fees to reverse the deal. On top of all this, when I looked the truck over in the garage I found ALL of these issues: • Front passenger brake caliper bolt missing • Lug nuts half incorrect • Half of bed bolts missing • Drivers rear hub cap missing • Driver's door does not lock • Grid heater unplugged and not functioning • Gear shift linkage loose • Trailer plug missing • Fifth wheel ball rusted and stuck in place • Half of drivers seat bolts missing • Drivers seat lumbar and height adjustment not functioning • Tail Lights cracked and leaking water I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Most of these issues should have been addressed BEFORE the truck was ever listed for sale. Especially after claiming it is "mint condition".

Bring a Mechanic

After looking for a year I thought I had found the perfect truck. I did but…… . I purchased my F350 Dually from Brookbank on 6/11. I drove it twice, researched, and contemplated like crazy. I made the decision to trade in my truck and dual sport. I WAS extremely happy with my decision until 7/17 when the ICP sensor, CAM sensor, and the IRP harness went out and left me stranded. No biggie I was still happy and understood these things happen. I had all sensors repaired for $294 and a $100 towing bill. Then on 7/29 tragedy struck when pulling into the driveway my truck decided to empty transmission fluid at a rapid rate down my driveway. I took it to a great transmission guy and 4 days later and $3,684.91 poorer I drove away with a newly rebuilt transmission. I discussed these issues immediately with Brookbank Auto Exchange. Specifically, Jeff. Jeff talked to the owner and after weeks of calls and the run around “we will talk about it and get back to you” there has been no progress on doing the right thing. Since then I replaced the wheel hubs, tires, brakes, and ball joints. $6,178 poorer. This was due to the front end staring to go out because of the semi-tires. Total cost of all repairs on my vehicle 3 months into purchases: $10,156.91 I have request some type of reimbursement for tranny and sensors. No luck . If you are going to purchase a vehicle here be preparing to spend at least 50% more after you sign the paperwork. You are going to need it. I would not recommend this company. Gave it a 1 star rating because at least the drive from Georgia to North Carolina was pretty.

Great Truck

Not enough good can be said about the guys at Brookbank auto exchange. Jeff and Thomas went above and beyond. Not only did we get a good deal, but flying in from another state we were met at the airport. Our truck was fueled and ready for our trip home. We would recomend them over and over again. Thanks Guys

Internet Truck Purchase

This was my first internet purchase of a vehicle. Jeff and Thomas made the process very easy. We drove 5 hrs to pick up the truck. We were given plenty of time to test drive and check out the condition. All was as described and there was no pressure to complete the deal. They arranged very favorable financing and we had no issues with the truck on the drive back home. I felt relaxed when another customer came and brought treats for Diesel the cat. Continued success to Jeff and Thomas.

Great experience

This was truly the best experience that I have had purchasing a used car. I have purchased about 12 cars in my lifetime, all but one were used vehicles. I drove two hours to check out a vehicle that I found online. Jeff (the sales rep) didn't know that I had driven two hours to see this vehicle. I was welcomed with open arms. I then drove the vehicle and knew that I was going to take it home that day. Prior to making the trip to the dealership I contacted my credit union for financing, so I already had a check to finance the truck. Jeff also didn't know that. So first we talked about my trade in value and he agreed to give me exactly what I wanted. Then we talked about the price on the new/used truck and I was able to wiggle him down a little bit. I did this to ensure that the two transaction were separate and that the difference wasn't getting tacked on to the end of my new/used truck. OK so I'm happy and I am ready to pull the trigger and make the purchase. I then tell Jeff that I have a check and am ready to make the purchase. He said OK, but if you don't mind telling me, I would like to know your intrest rate. I told him eight percent and he asked me what my credit score was, so I told him and he said that he was sure that he could do better than that. He then pulled my credit and was able to get me a 3.5 %. I was amazed. I got the exactly what I wanted, making a payment $200 a month less than I was expecting to pay. I would definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends. Thanks for everything Brookbank auto. Semper Fi
