Customer service is worse than awful.

Customer service is worse than awful. More than one employee lied to me. I complained to two of the sales managers, and they followed through with nothing they said they would do. They are glad to take your money, but never eager to help you afterwards. Service manager acted like a child. Very bad people.

Hatchett Hyundai is the most disorganized company I’ve

Hatchett Hyundai is the most disorganized company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t answer calls or return voicemails. We had to visit in person just to get any assistance. Even then, they either had no record of our visits, lost photos of our car, or had to resend information to Hyundai Motor USA. Additionally, Hyundai doesn’t stand behind their products. Their vehicles are poorly made, and they don’t take responsibility for issues. Save your money and invest elsewhere.

So let's start with the fact that Hatchett now offers

So let's start with the fact that Hatchett now offers included in each used car they sell a "Powertrain Warranty". The basics of something like this is that everything that oil touches is considered powertrain. Back when my family bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe Sport (yes, one that has a Theta II engine in it, we didn't know this at the time), this was offered as an additional add-on and boy was it pushed hard. This purchase was in 2019 and by 2020 we were already having issues with the car, however minor they may be. The left headlight kept burning out each bulb we put in within a few weeks, upon inspection, the wiring harness wasn't in good shape. That's fine though, we take it to Hatchett since we have a full warranty that we are within. Wiring harness was set to cost us $700 despite us having a warranty, this was because they had no warranty on file. It took my father driving home and getting the physical paperwork for the warranty before they believed us on a warranty they bought through them. It is beyond convenient that the dealership would lose paperwork for a liability they owe. Headlight gets fixed, whatever. Come to now where the engine is burning oil, no signs of oil leaks on our garage floor. Luckily, it's something that is very easy to check for, just pull the spark plugs and check for deposits on the plugs. Hatchett DID NOT do that, instead they put the car up on a hoist, drained the oil out, the called my father saying that the oil is leaking from a crack in the oil pan. That is very convenient for Hatchett as that would fall outside the warranty, go in and ask to see the car, even with service manager's "help" there was no crack in the oil pan and even some signs of smearing oil on the subframe to make it look like the oil was leaking (except they didn't even smear it on a part that made sense for where the leak was supposedly!). They want to flush the engine now, a process that won't fix anything and also a process that Hyundai says NOT to do on their engines. We were eventually charged with an oil change, and yes, the car is still burning oil and we know Hatchett won't fix it. Don't buy from Hatchett unless you can fix your own cars because the weakest point in a lot of these Hyundais is that xxxx Theta II engine, and I would hate to see anyone else have to pay to replace a faulty engine.

Do not buy from them if you plan on getting any work done

Do not buy from them if you plan on getting any work done in the service department! Absolute joke, 3 hours for an oil change! Worst service department I’ve ever experienced

WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR, HANDS DOWN!

WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR, HANDS DOWN!! WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS BUT.... I CANT!! My daughter bought a car from here and it has had issues since day ONE!! It SHOULD have in all honesty been lemon lawed, however, they are making her pay $1000 to fix it and THEN going to see what the resale value will be so they can get her in a different vehicle. While waiting for it to be fixed they found MORE wrong with it!! I truly wish they would do what is right bc if this was THEIR child they would NOT stand for it for ONE second!! Come on Hatchett, start doing right by your customers!! I bought a Sonanta from Mel Hambleton Ford and it had to go to Hatchett due to them having the parts and I have NEVER had an issue with my vehicle up until this point, they fixed it and my check engine light is back on!!! Someone there is drumming up ALOT of business doing purposely shotty work on their cars and putting Hatchet at a HUGE risk for some SERIOUS lawsuits!! I know they don't care but let's start reviewing these companies and holding them accountable for the lives they affect with their lies, manipulation and truly subpar service!!!

No Good Customer Service

I went up there to look at 2011 and they were selling it for 14,000 when the value price was 9, 925. When I told the gentleman that he was very rude to me and he also disrespected my loan officer. Not only that its the worse customer service. When I said no the the price of the car he just let me go he didn't even show me other cars that might fit my needs.

Terrible management.

Terrible management. Drove to see them, wonderful brand new salesman trying to help. Couldn't find the car, called management over and management's response was "the website is not updated" followed by a long uncomfortable silence. No attempt to de-escalate the situation. No sense of customer service. Not even an apology for our inconvenient, just blank stare.

I bought a used 2008 Jeep Liberty for my son whom is

I bought a used 2008 Jeep Liberty for my son whom is 18 years old on 04/06/2023 My sales guy was nice young man, name Ethan but the manager Doug Porter was impolite, belittling, talked over me, wouldn’t listen and very rude. I don’t know if it was because I am a women buying a car for her son, that he thought he could be dismissive. I should of just walked away from the deal. I paid 10,000.00 for the Jeep for my son, ask for the things to be fixed, again I was dismissed. I tried to negotiate the problems to be fixed and I was dismissed. On Friday, one day after the Jeep was purchased the oil light came on and went back off, which is a sign of maybe a oil sensor. The electrically outlets in the car are not working. I had my son take the Jeep to Jiffy Lube, where they printed a report stating the rear differential and oil needed to be replaced and the tag light isnt working. Which wasn’t disclosed on the report from Hatchett Hyundai East I called Friday and Saturday a total of three times and asked for a call back. I was never called! My son was called Saturday and told to bring in the Jeep in on Monday. I am currently at work. My son called me, the only did was replace the tag light and a previously agreed back windshield wiper arm. While on the phone again, I could hear Doug speaking over Kristopher, I asked to speak with him and again. He wouldn’t call me. I called Cody Lichti and told him. I would like to speak with Doug manager, he said he would speak to Doug. I told him of my previous experiences and told him I would prefer not to deal with Doug. He stated he would give me a call back. Again No call!! I know to these men, maybe 10,000.00 isn’t a lot of money but for me and some people that is!!!! I want a good car for my son, and would of liked to have the assurance that the car I just spent some of my life savings on was a good purchase. And to be treated with respect! I wouldn’t recommend the Hatchett East to any of my employees, family or anyone! We was treated horrible
