The people were super nice, but the vehicle we purchased

The people were super nice, but the vehicle we purchased has had a lot of issues. We purchased this vehicle for our 16 year old. We’ve only had the car 4 months. Less than two weeks in, the passenger door seemed to be sticking. We had to pull super hard to open it. After getting closer look, we noticed a botched job of trying to repair something within the door panel. The panel edge is jagged from being cut and the panel is not properly secured causing it to get hung when trying to open the door. Not sure if it was the previous owner or the dealership who attempted the repair. Either way, no one let us know. Fast forward to two months of having the vehicle. The AC has stopped working. It blows hot air. We checked the Freon and that’s not it, so it’ll probably be pretty pricey. The AC could be a coincidence, but that would be unlikely as most dealerships do a detailed check of vehicles before listing them. Again, the people were nice and easy to work with, but the vehicle that was sold to us has not been worth what we paid. Check EVERYTHING before you purchase from them. Don’t simply take their word that the car is in great condition. They have a lot of great vehicles, but we will not recommend them or purchase from them in the future.

I think the reviews speak for themselves!

I think the reviews speak for themselves! DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR WITH OTTOSOURCE! When doing business with companies, we want to believe that we're dealing with fair and honest people but sometimes that is not the case. We did an out of state purchase of a 2019 Range Rover on June 14, 2024 with Ottosource that came with title defects. We have been lied to, misguided and kicked around for more than six months. In the first month after purchasing the company was responsive stating that they were working on things but here we are six months later and received three temporary tags with no resolution in sight. It is important to note that you are supposed to complete all title work within 30 days of purchasing a vehicle. It has now gotten to the point where they aren't returning our calls and even our lender has tried to reach out but has been unsuccessful. To make this as simple as possible, because title defects are present - we nor our bank lender own the vehicle. Ottosoure has been paid for the car and still technically has ownership. We have filed a complaint with the Texas DMV and sent a demand letter to Ottosource requesting for them to pick up our SUV and reimburse us fully. Ironically, we spoke with the general manager (Medi) on Christmas Eve, who has never called us before, wanting to send our third temporary tag. He mentioned nothing of the demand letter that we sent certified and that their office signed for two weeks ago. When we ask for tracking numbers on things they're supposed to send to our Tax Collector, they don't have them to provide. This is not a good company. This is not an honest company. It is a risk that is not worth taking to purchase a car with Ottosource. Be better than us and BEWARE!

Run, Run, Run!

Run, Run, Run! I was stranded on the side of the road less then 24 hours after purchase. I just graduated high school and saved money all summer for a car. I was really excited to get my 1st nicer looking car, but that ended fast when I realized my $5,500 was down the drain and now I'm stuck with a car with a seized engine.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! I am not one to publish poor reviews but this one is a must. After test driving a 2021 Tesla Model S (VIN #5YJSA1E25MF426828) on a Friday, I decided to take the weekend to look at other options before making a decision. I was already pre-approved and was told that they don't typically take outside financing unless they can make up the difference with a warranty sale. I left with print outs, warranty information, CarFax report. On Monday, we decided to move forward with the purchase. We signed papers and needed to send the purchase agreement to my bank. There's likely an additional reason they don't want to offer outside financing! My bank called me back and said they could not give us financing because the car was in a severe accident and had frame damage. This, of course, was not revealed on the CarFax report. Our bank uses the Experian AutoCheck to verify the VIN and it revealed that this car was sold at an auction April 25 and had frame damage. When I told my salesman and the manager I wasn't able to get financing because of the damage, they denied it and questioned the Experian car report. Is there a chance they didn't know? Sure. But who bought it from the auction, fixed it, and resold it? Otto Source did. I am so grateful for my bank checking into this! Otherwise, we would have been stuck with a car with damage. Worse yet, THE CAR IS STILL LISTED ON THEIR SITE!!! To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. They have earned the reputation and title of "used car salesmen" are not to be trusted. Shameful.

Don't walk RUN?

Don't walk RUN???? Liars Cheaters Bully FRAUD how are they still in business... Falsified records blamed it on a salesman that died. Will not return calls. Mario is abrasive loud and a bully. I bought a 50K Porsche (dream Car). in March. September it blew up after I replaced 4 unsafe tires and an A/C that wasn't "under Warranty". to be told now there is no warranty and they are not responsible. Worst experience EVER>>>>>>>>>>

Bait & Switch dealer.

Bait & Switch dealer. Beware. Drove 2 hours for an appt set by the salesperson. When we arrive at the scheduled time, sales person isn’t there and neither is the car we were to see. But someone else offers to help and a different car is available. While we are waiting, another customer who was waiting outside for 35 minutes.. had the EXACT SAME THING happen to them! That’s Bait and switch. We left .. and received a scripted call.. NO THANK YOU. PLEASE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. NOT THE CAR YOU ARE ADVERTISED. Just know that.. Great sales scheme for them not for someone driving. JUST BEWARE

Don't Buy From Otto Source!

The absolute worst vehicle buying experience that I've ever had. After they get your signature, there is no customer service!!! Don't ever buy from here! They did zero to help get my trade in paid off and left me with paying for 2 cars at the same time.

Burned

Thought I had a car lined up…then they called me and told me they had an earlier deposit made after asking me to send in the form. Ridiculous. I made plans and everything. Very disorganized
