Enjoyable Car Buying Experience

We were in a bind, stressed and had to get a car for the household. At Mini of Knoxville we had a great experience with Tim Marsee. He was honest and straight forward. We never felt like we were being pressured or manipulated. The financing department was equally helpful and respectful. Definitely not the stereotypical car salesman experience. Would look forward to going back there for our next vehicle.

Amazing staff and atmosphere - quality vehicles!

After spending weeks looking for the right car, my friend suggested that I go to Mini Cooper of Knoxville. In a few hours I drove home in the car of my dreams and have peace of mind with the certified pre-owned warranty that is complimentary of any mini vehicle at this location. The staff is friendly and exceptionally honest. I Recommend Mini Cooper of Knoxville to anyone looking for a straightforward. fair, and FUN experience. They will even fill up your tank!!! :)

Recently inquired about the countryman. Told the dealer what payments I could work with. He clearly did not understand because he exceeded my payments by almost $100. I feel like I was rushed into a contract. Once I got home I realized that I could not afford the car. I called the very same day they put me off til Monday. I called Monday they put me off til Tuesday. Then they told me there was nothing they could do. They gave me the runaround. The sales manager actually stated that he already got his commission of the car they sold me. Also stated that my credit wasn't good enough to trade it back. This is a brand new car. They still had my trade on their lot and refused to let me bring the countryman back. I've been shopping around for awhile and I know most dealerships give you 5-7 days in case you change your mind. I suggest if you want honest people who will do the right thing and who will work with you that you go elsewhere. Now I'm stuck in a car that I can't afford. For years to come.

Above & beyond what I expected.

I just need to say what a joy it has been to work with Carol Hwang in the service department. She really took what could have been a disastrous MINIs on the Dragon with The Countess acting a fool and really made it special for me. Those service managers may get a bad rep but Carol bucks the trend.

Very Satisfied!

I was very happy the first and second time doing business with Mini of Knoxville. Due to a muscle injury I had to trade my manual in for an automatic. Brandon Wirick did a really good job helping compare vehicles, helping me find a Mini that suited my needs, was in my budget, and also familiarized me with all the new features. Came in looking for another used and left with a brand new Mini. I will do business with them in the future and highly recommend Mini of Knoxville.

Excellent Customer Service at MINI of Knoxville

Thank you MINI of Knoxville for your excellent customer service! Carol Hwang and the service department went above and beyond! Not only did they complete my repairs a day early, they deeply discounted the entire repair costs and offered me a complimentary car to drive without my requesting it! Thank you MINI and Carol...you made my day!

Internet sales horrible!

Recently inquired online about a vehicle at this dealership and received terrible customer service. After the initial conversation I sent my trade info so the salesman Rick Culotta could work up a deal sheet. What a deal sheet it was; $795 for customer protection, $249 for theft deterrent. WHAT! When I addressed all the unusual charges and referred to his sales tactic as a "typical salesman," I got another email asking if I would purchase the vehicle if he took the charges off. I countered back with a low offer only to get a smart Alec email, I'll include below. I forwarded the email to dealers customer service dept. with no reply. I guess dealership is low quality when it comes to customers. Hello Mr. Fxxxxxxxxxxx, This typical salesman would like to offer our best price of $37,979.29 OTD. This price includes all taxes tag and dealer fees. P.S. if you find any like this for $28,500 OTD please let me know because we will buy it and any like it for that price. Thank you Sir and good luck! Sincerely, Rick Culotta 865-209-1366 MINI of Knoxville Fax 865

Doing the Right Thing

I have taken my '09 Clubman S to MINI of Knoxville for service since I bought the car. I recently had a battery die on my and, when I took it in for service, asked them to also check the engine as it hadn't been running quite right. The engine failed the test for carbon deposits. This car, with 45,000 miles on it, had already had to have the engine heads blasted to remove carbon deposits three times previously. I asked the service rep to speak to the service manager, David, about giving me some consideration on the blasting work, which costs about $1100, since it was obviously a recurring problem. My warranty had expired last year, although the car was still under an extended maintenance agreement. Amazingly, David agreed that he would pick up the carbon blasing work under warranty work, even though the warranty had expired. I've never had an experience at a car dealer where they did what was right, not what they were required to do. I can't say enough positive about MINI of Knoxville and their perspective on how to win and keep loyal customers. They have my lifelong appreciation.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!

Christian Knopp was our salesman and he did an excellent job. He was very good about telling us every detail about the car that we bought which was a 2014 Countryman. He was very patient while we looked and while we made our decisions. I would definitely recommend buying at Mini Cooper of Knoxville and ask for Christian.
