FALSE ADVERTISING.
FALSE ADVERTISING. Furious that my fiance & I wasted 2 hours of our time at Jim Butler Kia. They had listed on facebook a 2017 Honda Odyssey with 200k miles, posted over a month ago. The ad clearly stated the van had passed a 165 point inspection. So we drove there, they showed it to us, took it for a drive, then went inside to go over details & negotiations. AFTER we spent about 45 minutes there.. looking at the van, putting a car seat in it to drive, etc they then tell us the car had NOT been inspected at all! Very annoying. They then spent over an hour PRESSURING us to make a commitment to purchase. We made a deal, left a deposit, then barely heard from them the next day. The following day (today) the ad was changed to sold. An hour later my fiance was TEXTED saying the van is going to wholesale! No call, no reasonable counter offer, nothing. My fiance called and spoke to the manager Kenny who had an attitude right off the bat and said he would sell it for $11,500 which was over TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE than the listed price of $9,150! Because it needs "$4,500" worth of repairs. Then maybe you shouldn't have posted it in the first place!! If you list a vehicle saying it passes an inspection, it should have passed the inspection already. Especially in the month it's been there! Don't waste people's time and make deals you won't honor!! Oh yeah, the building smells like something died in the air vents. Not at all what I expected from a large dealer. Very dishonest and unprofessional. Bad service and bad business.

Ben was our salesman & was great!
Ben was our salesman & was great! He’s very personable & knowledgeable. I was not impressed by Rich who handled the financing. He told me our rate would be 7.9% for 72 months . I had to ask if we qualified for the .9% for 60 months, which we did. Rich repeatedly told me he would take the rebate & finance for 7.9% which would cost me close to 10,000$ when all is said & done. It was insulting that he thought I couldn’t do basic math & thought I would go along with his ridiculous suggestion of financing at 7.9. He is the reason people don’t like buying cars. Ben was great though!

The repair wasn’t done correctly and now it’s leaking
The repair wasn’t done correctly and now it’s leaking oil. Very disappointed given the amount of time that it took to get the repaired done in the first place. I had to stay over an extra night.
