Bought a truck from malloy took it back next day rear was bad and they charged me 842.00 to fix they wouldn't cover it

SERVICE/ HONESTY of Malloy Ford

Please let me tell you a little bit about Malloy Fords in Winchester VA.. Mind you, I am one that has never left a negative review but feel that everyone needs to be very careful when dealing with this company. So, my experience is as follows.. I was debating on getting another car or wait until my credit score went up a little further as it dropped due to me co-signing for my daughter and since our garage caught on fire and damaged the pool, I put the pool on my CC.( It has been paid off but really dropped the score) I saw the Jeep that Malloy had and really do love Jeeps as they are trustworthy so I turned to them to see what we could do.. This is where my story begins.. A nice young man came out to greet us and I will say hands down, he was amazing !! He showed us various SUV's and we were debating between 2. The Manager came over and discussed Factory Warranty's with us and we decided on the Jeep as it had the better Factory Warranty. We even discussed a review I had read where they did not pay off the loan of someone and they said they did not get paystubs in, they did not follow through with stuff and the car was returned. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG!!! Later on, the Manager came over and stated they were waiting for a few more checks but said, this is what we are giving you for your car.. AWESOME.. They were paying off my loan and I was not going to lose anything !! Score for me, right??? They also were going to help lower the cost of the Jeep.. Score again, Well, not really because about that time the Manager came out after reducing the price of the Jeep a little and said, well the actual payoff is higher then what we thought so now we are giving you this amount.. My husband and I looked at each other and were wondering why he would tell us one thing and then another but later on figured out what it was all about.. YES, they dropped the price on the Jeep but after that did not give me as much as they said.. HENSE... They really did not drop the price.. NOW -- On to the final financing.. While we were talking to a wonderful lady about everything she said something about the warranty and we said.. WHOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA , that is not what that guy just told us.. She got up and talked to him and, this Manager comes in and says, " I did not tell you this". My husband says yes you did... The Manager walked out after my husband said this.. THIS MAN FLAT UP AND LIED!!!!!!!!!!!! At this time we were ready to walk away from this because we felt that we were totally lied to .. I believe we should have but we did not.. Please , PLEASE be very careful when dealing with these people, they have Manager's that will LIE to you.. . They offer no warranty with most cars but we did purchase extra.. I will NEVER go back to them and am kicking myself in my BUTT for going through with this deal.. Lesson LEARNED-- DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE..

Mary, the General Manager had attempted contact with you personally hoping to speak with you by phone or in person and get some resolution for you. After your able to have a conversation in further detail perhaps you will have a different outlook.

The Service Manager, Tom, was very helpful and ensured the work was done correctly. I?m impressed that he made himself available to customers and staff instead of sitting behind a desk in an office somewhere. He effectively practices ?Managing by Walking Around?. Also, Alisha, my Service Advisor, was very professional and helpful. She kept me informed of the repairs needed and progress. I have been a Malloy customer since 1991. Over the past 5 yrs the quality of the service has been spotty. I?m hoping that the Mallory Service Dept is turning a corner in the right direction under Tom?s leadership. E. F. Bellinetti

I have been a customer of Malloy Ford for almost 30 years. I could not imagine going anywhere else to buy my vehicle or to have it serviced. If you are looking for a dealership who truly cares about their customers and a service department who is the best in the area...then go to Malloy Ford. You won't be disappointed. D. Unger

Malloy Ford experience

It was a great experience purchasing my Expedition from Malloy. Grant was awesome and was very helpful with any of our questions. The Malloy staff was great as well and the service was quick and easy and explained thoroughly. I would highly recommend Malloy Ford to any family or friends.

Service writer I spoke with over the phone had just...

Service writer I spoke with over the phone had just started, had no information and could only make an appt. I arrived on time. One hour later no one had looked at my vehicle. After I asked, they looked at it and later told me they needed to do an oil consumption test and I had to bring my truck in every 200 miles. I said no as I live 50 miles away and went to a closer dealership that performed a Ford Service Tech Bulletin update that took care of the issue in one visit. Sales is great at Malloy - my experience with the service dept. was not so great. The people in service are very nice but they fumbled the service issue with my vehicle.
