STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP Went to buy a car we agreed on trade but when final cost came numbers didn't match. They found all ways to make me pay 3.000.00 Xtra for Acura packages, which l never request, even if l refuse to pay they almost force you to pay for. Made me waste all day and didn't made deal of course. Please don't let emotions get in your brain, always read what you sing and remember they're not the boss, you are ...you have the 💰 don't fall into their game. Stay away .

Best service experience!
My best service experience yet! Oil change/tire rotation was done less than an hour. The technician found a piece metal in a tire and was able to patch it. The tire had been loosing a small amount of air every month. Your service team is professional, honest and kind. Thank you!

Left a bad taste in the mouth
Background: My baby daughter was born end of last year. I decided it is time to replace the old Honda civic with something like MDX that has lot more space and luxury. My friend has a 2015 MDX and I drove it for once and liked the 3-row set up. I called Palatine Acura dealer for a test drive and gave the sales agent Scott my name (Sean) and told him I was particularly interested in the base model with AWD. He told me that base is not available at the current market but there are a few tech packages available for test drive. Experience/Drama 1: The first drama happened when Scott greeted me. He asked me whether my name is John or Howard. I told him it was Sean but he mumbled 'you don't want to give me your name'. I then gave him my driver's license for the test drive and when he verified the name, he had the despicable look on his face then just left me without saying anything. I felt offended. To clarify my driver license has my legal Chinese name on it but I also go by Sean, which is the closest English pronunciation of my Chinese first name. And I have no idea how they have 'Howard' in the system as this is my first time visit the dealership. As for the 'John' I guess he misheard it through the phone? Drama 2: In this sellers' market I assumed this sub-optimal sales experience is the new norm. I waited for about 15 min with no update so I asked other salesmen how long I need to wait, and to my surprise all others seemed nice, friendly and professional. They offed me water and told me Scott was pulling an A-spec but it will take at least half hour. This is apparently different than what I discussed through phone with him. Having no interest for A-spec package I asked them to pull a tech package MDX for test drive which is available in a few min. Drama 3: He gave me the key for the sample car and left me there. Needless to say this was a huge upgrade so I went back to the front desk and asked if I could have a salesperson walk me through the details. I asked for a different person than Scott given the bad experience but alas he was the one to show up. He first questioned me why I need someone because he thought I drove a MDX. I explained to him I only drove my friend's MDX for once or twice. He gave a very brief walkthrough and then left. Overall this is a bad shopping experience and a disappointment.

Excellent service
I was having difficulties with my car and made a call to Acura and spoke with Ahmer. He walked me through what might be wrong with my vehicle, encouraged me to come in, and then walked me through the next steps. He had excellent communication through the process and my vehicle was was repaired within one day. I was very impressed with the timely manner.
