We weren't told about lug nut issues

My biggest issue is that I discovered 3 weeks ago when we bought new tires. I was asked about a "key" to unlock a lug nut per tire!!! We didn't have a clue!!! If I had been on the highway. I would have been "SOL"!!!

Price Gouging. 2020 Toyota Avalon 50 K car!!!

I would love to leave a review! Sept 1, 2022 McCarthy Toyota of Sedalia, I love my 2020 Toyota Avalon Limited with 4K miles ! Thanks for the price gouging me at 50K when the cars value is worth 36,500! Enjoy you 14K profit ! I Will never buy a car from you again! Word of mouth advertising is a wonderful tool! Nurses speak in volume!! You Suck!!

Shady Shady Business

On 2-7-2022 I was told that I would have to pay $2,200 over listing price and a $1,000 non refundable deposit to hold & secure a vehicle since I was 3 hours away. I declined and said I could come 2-8-2022 if the vehicle was available. On 2-8-2022, I was informed the car was still available by Dane, the salesman. I told Dane I was on the way to buy the vehicle. After 30 mins I was texted that the vehicle was sold. A customer was there all morning and was buying the vehicle. A few hours later, I was confirmation by text that the vehicle was sold. Today on 2-12-2022, I called the dealership and the vehicle was still there. Someone was once again there today “to buy it, they’ve put a deposit down today.” Shady business, the vehicle was not a auction. Availability kept changing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE!! p.s- I have the text and confirmation proof of entire conversations. Shady shady business

Possible bait n switch on pricing

Called about the $9,999 2013 Ford Escape SEL SUV. Upon calling apparently this dealership expects you to get a loan or to trade in a vehicle. If not the car price goes up. No where is it mentioned in the listing or on their site that this is what they’re doing. Sounds like a bait n switch. Currently have cash in hand. Off to another dealership. Supposedly they want around $13k.

Best place for a buy a car . And make friends

Excellent job. Silver is the best sale man to work with and kindle is the best finically person to work with. I would not got any where else for a car or truck. All my friends and family buy there cars here . They see Silver or Zack . And Dan that runs the place is the best and will worth the drive and time and they will get you any make or model you want.

Superb Car Dealer

I purchased a 2021 Camry SE from McCarthy Toyota on 4-30-21. I wanted a certain color and features. Because car manufacturers were having trouble getting parts and microchips because of the pandemic, new cars and trucks were not being produced easily and it was getting very hard to find the new car that I wanted. I decided to let my salesperson Silver Rosas at McCarthy Toyota in Sedalia MO, see if he could find the car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. It took him a week to dealer locate it and a few more days to get delivered. ( In these trying times, one must be patient) and I was and it was worth it. I truly believe I received the best trade in price for my 2017 Camry over any other dealer. I also bought my 2017 Camry 4 years ago new from Silver Rosas at McCarthy Toyota, its nice to see the same people 4 years later. So would I recommend McCarthy Toyota as the place to buy a car from? MOST DEFINITELY! If you want a salesperson who actually listens to what you want and what your able to afford and will go the extra mile to accomplish that for you then ask for Silver. I would stop in and see Silver because I had more questions and would change my mind about what I thought I wanted and he would listen and let me know what was possible. This went on for 2 months before I bought my car from him. And during this time he was always courteous and professional. I asked him one time do you expect me to buy today? He responded with, I expect you to buy when its right for you. So if you hate pushy car salespeople go see Silver Rosas. I should also mention BIG DAN The sales manager and Kendall the finance manager they were also very instrumental helping to put my deal together. They all worked as a team and because of that I was able to get the 2021 Camry I wanted at the price I wanted. And yes the next time I buy a new car it will be at McCarthy Toyota in Sedalia Missouri.

Rick new truck shopper

I was shopping online for a new Tacoma and the best deal. The sales person told me about a truck that would be arriving soon along with specs sheet. I was quoted a price on the truck which was the best deal I had found. After confirming the details and stock number of vehicle I was told suddenly they had a deposit on the truck! Really! Oh but they found me another truck with a lower sticker price but for 3500.00 higher selling price!! Really!! Crooks, lack of integrity, avoid this dealership!

Friendly people. The service was great . The wife was a little concerned about no masks but then saw the care that was taken on the inside of the car to insure safety for the owners. We appreciate the care.
