It started in the service department after I arrived in

It started in the service department after I arrived in my 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 with 175,000+ miles. There was a problem with the transmission. After consulting with a few service techs, I decided it was time to buy a new truck. They introduced me to Thomas Swink in the sales department. He was very knowledgeable about all the trucks and he was an excellent salesman. Not pushy at all, but knows how to close a deal. Negotiations were quick and easy. I was able to drive away that same day in the new truck.

My service writer was VERY courteous and professional,

My service writer was VERY courteous and professional, Daniel (although he spells it much differently). My questions is how can I be charged for 7 plus hours of service when I was only there for 3 1/2 hours?? He told me it would be 3, which was close. He explained that a trans 'flush' is NOT a good idea as it will circulate all the gunk and crap in the bottom, throughout the trans........ makes sense but doesn't make sense. I'll take his word for it. You washed my truck, sort of, there was still a ton of bugs on the front.

I purchased a vehicle from Hiley GMC.

I purchased a vehicle from Hiley GMC. The salesman, sales manager, and finance department were vey polite, knew their products and treated me fairly. One of my best car purchase experiences ever, and I have bought a lot of cars. I recommend you check out their deals online and go visit this dealership if you are serious about buying. I am glad that did.

Finance dept and employees were dishonest about APR.

Finance dept and employees were dishonest about APR. GM advertises and offers a reasonable APR to customers with my good credit score. Hiley wouldnt give me that rate. Refused to tell me what their buy rate was. They gave me monthly payment options but told me they didnt know what the interest rate was. That's mathmatically impossible. I even paid 43% down and was given an inflated interest rate. Very shady business practice. Truck prices were good. Salesman (Norman) was a nice guy. Finance guys wont give straight answers. Dont go here unless you are paying cash or financing somewhere else.

Initially I went to Hiley Chevrolet with interest in

Initially I went to Hiley Chevrolet with interest in purchasing a 2019 Audi Q8. I informed the salesperson I pre-approved with Capital One and 1st National Bank. The claimed they are an approved lender with Capital One and insisted I complete an application with their finance dept. They come back with an Approval with a ridiculous monthly payment, to include, a downpayment of $6900. They never disclosed the interest rate, but I am sure based on the payment it was extremely high, so I asked for a purchase order to take to my bank, and my request was ignored. So, I decided to go to Hiley GMC, the salesperson convinced me to by a truck, because the truck I was looking at, had some discounts. Interested in purchasing the truck I informed the salesperson I have already been approved with Capital One, so I asked him for a purchase order for the truck. We have a good finance department, I proceeded to tell him the interest rate with your finance dept is too high, therefore I would like to proceed with the 1st National Bank. Then the vulture proceeded to tell me that the discounts was only applicable if I use their financing. Talk about don't care about what is best for the customer - The Hiley dealerships appear to be really dishonest in their business practices. I contacted Bill Utter Ford, in Denton and I can say they are truly honest and there were no hidden fees, they honored their advertised price (purchased a 2025) and allowed me to use my outside financing.
