Bought a certified pre owned ‘24 Jetta with 16k miles on

Bought a certified pre owned ‘24 Jetta with 16k miles on it and got 4.09% APR. The price was $21,470 before tax and dmv fees. The whole experience lasted five painful hours. If we were in a position to wait a little longer we would have bought somewhere else. I recommend buying elsewhere or at least clarifying hidden fees over the phone. About 20min into the conversation they told us we needed to purchase two features that we did not want: some kind of coating for the paint and an anti theft device. The mandatory “upgrades” were $1k each. The actual price came out to $23,470. After about two hours of back and forth they lowered it by $300. The price still seemed fair even though they added hidden fees so they ultimately got what they wanted and we mostly did. We spoke with three salespeople and didn’t really feel comfortable with any of them. They all spoke negatively about each other. Weird vibes. Only giving this a two star review because the finance guy was awesome. Promote that man.

I traded in my car to them.

I traded in my car to them. They resold the car. The dealer did not do the DMV paperwork. The person who they sole the car to did not do the DMV paperwork. This person who has the car now is running around breaking all kinds of laws in Southern Cali. The police came to my door saying the car was in a high speed chase. No the car is in Northern Cali breaking laws there now. They need to be investigated but DMV or anyone else will listen. I call them many many times and nothing. They can not be trusted to do the right thing

I bought my car from this dealership in April.

I bought my car from this dealership in April. I had a problem with them right away about a backup camera that was not installed correctly. It took about six weeks for them to reimburse me to correct the problem that another dealership had to fix. . And that was after numerous emails and texts. They kept denying the problem until I gave them a bad review Now I have a new problem that i realized about a month after buying the car. The front bumper is loose and coming off. I pushed it back on and it stayed on temporarily. It’s become more frequent so i took it to a body shop. There is a part that’s broken off and it doesn’t stay on. The body shop found it was held on with zip ties. It was listed on car fax as to never being in an accident but the dealership must have seen the zip ties when it was brought to them. It has the same scrapes on the bottom of the bumper as any other sedan, but this is excessive if the bumper is coming off! Now it’s costing me an extra $1000 to replace the bumper. Don’t trust this dealership or anything they say to you. They will lie to you with a smile! Yes I should have done more homework and checked out the dealership besides checking out the car!

I was at VW PUENTE HILLS AUG 6 AND AUG 7, 2024 waiting for almost 4 hours, to get insurance approved to replace my windshield but it's not cover ( It's cover for fix not replacements ) The financial service manager is no longer there so they can't do anything WOW. BIG SCAM!!! The Sale Manager Mahdi VERY WORSE PERSON I NEVER DEAL WITH.

The worst dealership, typical used car salesman!

The worst dealership, typical used car salesman! They will lie to you!! I bought a Lexus in April. Before I bought the car they had to replace the backup camera. However, in doing so they did not complete the job and did not calibrate the correct codes to the computer to show the critical guidance lines. They kept insisting it was done correctly but it was not. I had to take it to a local Lexus dealership to correct the problem costing me an additional $338.82. I sent them the copy of the bill to show what had to be done and I’m asking for a reimbursement. The reason why i am so insistent about the reimbursement is because they wouldn’t negotiate because of spending the money on the camera. Now I’m out extra money to correct their mistake. They don’t even have the curtesy to write back, but they lie and say they did! When I gave them a bad review they lied and told me they had comminuted with me and were processing a check. This is a flat out lie! Don’t believe anything they say! They ignore emails, texts and don’t care about bad reviews. They don’t care about the customer, STAY AWAY FROM THEM! THEY ARE THE WORST DEALERSHIP! They might write a reply to this review and dispute what I said, they are lying no matter what they say!!! They don’t even deserve the one star!

If anyone is thinking about buying a car from this

If anyone is thinking about buying a car from this dealership, I advise you NOT TOO! They are typical used car salesmen and don’t care anything about the customer after the car is sold. I bought a used car in April. Before I bought the car the backup camera needed to be replaced which they did. However, they did not follow all the steps to calibrate it to the car’s computer and it did not work to the fullest capacity (it did not show the guidance lines that are critical). I complained and they insisted it was done correctly. I had to take it to a local dealer to correct the problem. I was told there were old codes that needed to be deleted and disconnect codes that needed to be corrected. This cost me an additional $338.82! I have emailed the salesman and sales manager about this matter. I have sent a copy of the bill so they could see what had to be done to make the camera work properly at the sales manager’s request. He did not even read the emails i sent. At one point the sales manager offered me half. But this was not adequate since they would not negotiate very much on the price of the car because of replacing the camera and I expect to be fully compensated for my additional cost. When I texted the salesman about this he said the half “check is in the mail” (which it isn’t). I have written several emails about this matter and now my emails and texts are being ignored! This is not a way to do business! So again, I urge you DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE BUYER AFTER THE SALE! THEY DON’T EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR!!!

Few days later, Was text to asked lazy Sales what gas I need to put, this person asked me to Google it. 3rd, I need loaner’s car in order to go to work so I can drop my at VW Punte Hill for inspection this sales again told me Mar 7th will try again when I reached out to him, he said he didn’t said it and he is off can’t talk to me. Great experience at Puente Hills VW. Larry Yu was very helpful,no pressure. James,the manager and Diane in the service department were also very nice. Love my 2019 Beetle convertible.
