Condescending SA Mandy Hicks and Reclusive service manager

I don't normally leave reviews, much less negative reviews, I like to brush off bad experiences, even when they cost me time and money, with few exceptions, except when the offending employee, in this case Mandy Hicks tells you to file a complaint and feel free to use her name! So unfortunately I feel obliged to inform future customers about this very condescending, stare-into-your-eyes-with-a-piercing-and-disrespectful-glare, unprofessional Service Advisor of BMW Tricities, Mandy Hicks. Not only did Mandy Hicks refuse to treat a customer with respect, but she also glaringly interrupted my showroom experience and rudely ordered me to take a 2019 BMW with barely 10k miles on it to Firestone Autocare for an oil change. When this is the only dealer with an open appointment in the short term, and their employee Mandy willingly tells you to take your car to Firestone instead of her shop, it sure speaks wonders to the operation being run here. As if the above were not enough Mandy then took it upon herself to refuse to allow the service manager to come up and speak with me. I drove for half of my day to this dealership and the service manager would not even come up to discuss the very first oil service on a 2019 BMW. As if it was not enough for her and him that I wasted a whole day and a tank of gas driving to this dealership to honor their service appointment. In the end I even offered to pay out of pocket for the vehicles very first oil change as it was 1000 over the indicator and she had already wasted much of my time here doing nothing for the car, but Mandy refused to move an inch, refusing access to the service manager, and acting like it was too late for an oil change despite the fact that a more pleasant manager of a different department suggested she do something for the situation. Apparently Mandy, and her reclusive service manager, likely instructing her behind the scenes run the show, and I would be surprised if he replied considering he had ample time to easily resolve this on the spot. After this experience I can imagine why this dealer would care about negative reviews when they have such an extremely unpleasant, dishonest, and condescendingly unprofessional employee like Mandy. How many times have you had an employee interrupt your sales experience to tell you to bring a new 2019 BMW to a third-party repair shop? Or stare and glare straight into your eyes and tell you to feel free to use their name in a corporate complaint? Simply unbelievable experience here. I would not buy from this dealer nor would I recommend servicing a car here. It is a shame because they had an extremely compelling discount on a 20 model year M340i, something you don't usually see on such a new model, but buyer beware you spend a few hours with sales, and much more time getting a poor experience in service over the life of the vehicle. Is a few thousand or more off on a new car worth being ordered around and disrespected? I spoke to a few customers waiting for their car, and asked if they were happy with the service here? Surprisingly or unsurprisingly the consensus was a feeling of indifference and a belief that it has so far at least been better than waiting a while for an appointment and driving the hours to Seattle or Portland. Well I drove the few hours for the open appointment and wasted my time, I hope this review tempers expectations and saves someone else the wasted time and gas driving here. I sure wish I did my research before coming here.

Excellent Professional Friendly and Knowledge

We dealt with Jessica Garza when looking for our new-used car. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very nice. We told her what we were looking for and the first car she showed us was the one we bought. We sincerely thank her! If your looking for new or used, you must try this BMW Dealership.

condescending Mandy

I purchased and had a spoiler installed by this facility, and on the day it was installed, I was not informed that the car had to remain at the shop for 24 hours. I wanted to leave the car there, but there was no loaner car for me to use, and the service dept. informed me that as long as I left the blue tape on the spoiler for 24 hours, it should stay in place, Well, a few months later it started to come up, and after 2 attempts to get the car in for service, I finally take it in and am told I will have to pay to have it fix, by a very snobby, condescending Mandy. She was not willing to have me speak to a manager and the service person, Duane with whom I had been talking to was off of course, and he never returned my call either after I left him a message that day. Anyways, Mandy implied that it was our fault the spoiler was coming up and she did not try or attempt to help figure out a way to resolve this issue but kept saying we chose to take the car home against their recommendations. I expressed to Mandy that I did not feel I should have to pay to fix the spoiler, and she said, that I would have to pick up my vehicle, and there was nothing she could do. When we arrived at dealership to pick up my car, she very aggressively ripped up the paper on the floor and practically threw the key fob at us and I had to ask her if there was anything else I needed to do or sign as she proceeded to walk away without saying a word. All I know is I will never return to this facility for any service and will never purchase a car from them. I have purchased new, and leased BMW's since 1995 and was planning to purchase an X5 or X6 in a couple years. I will drive to Spokane from now on just to avoid this place. I felt I was treated very unprofessionally and made to feel that I was a bad person, and had no rights, and it was all my fault, and that I was just bothering them, and they had better things to do. Sincerely, Rebekah Gustin

Washington to Boston

This dealership goes out of there way to make a deal go good, I bought a used rare Jeep SRT night off them and I’m 3k miles away I had it shipped in a enclosed trailer and everything went good, Eli kept me up to date with phone calls, pictures, and even videos of my truck getting loaded on the trailer, never met him but if he could do all that from 3k miles away that’s a good salesman in my book....thanks tri city’s bmw and Eli from keeping your word and being honest on my deal

I traded in my X1 for an X3

We could not be more satisfied with our transaction at BMW of Tri Cities. We felt treated as valued customers and will definitely refer anyone interested in BMWs to this dealership. Eli Reyna made the transition so easy and helped with the technology aspect of everything. We will be loyal customers because of the integrity and thoughtful consideration of Eli and this dealership.

Fair price great staff very nice car

Bought 2017 BMW 530 at a fair price and tradein valuation. Staff was exceptional through two test drives and during the purchase process making it fun and easy as well as staying several hours after standard closing time to complete paperwork and car delivery. Nice to have a local BMW dealership that is competitive, courteous and responsive.

Great Experience

I purchased a new BMW with the help of an awesome salesman, Anthony. The entire sales department was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I drove down to Richland from Spokane and it was worth the drive!

This was my first experience with a BMW dealership and I had a great interaction. Evan was knowledgeable and down to earth. I though the prices were fair and I look forward to having my routine maintenance completed at your facility in the future. Thank You!

used car purchase

Bought a used car from TriCities BMW. Flew in from Montana (to drive home my used car purchase) and was picked up by my salesman (larry) and entire transaction was smooth. Had one technical issue on car (minor) but Larry allowed me to get issue repaired at home and fully reimbursed me for the repair as promised. I would buy from them again for sure.
