Normally service is great when I bring my Elantra.

Normally service is great when I bring my Elantra. But the last time I took my daughters Chevy Cruze for a oil change they dropped the ball. Made appointment for 9:30 am, after 2 hours I text the number the service department text you to use for any questions during your visit I get no response so I walk to service department to ask in person and I see my daughters car still as not been taking to be worked on. The service rep sees me and says let me find out what's going on with car. He goes to garage a second later someone comes to get the car. Rep comes back and tells me it will be done in 45 minutes. So when we finally get the car back they didn't wash the car like they indicated they did on the bill. The first time I took my daughters Chevy for oil change it went smoothly.

I took my car in for an electrical repair.

I took my car in for an electrical repair. They are unable to discover why that was occurring however, told me I needed a new transmission totally does not make any sense

I was looking for the incredibly difficult to find

I was looking for the incredibly difficult to find Elantra N, in white, manual transmission. A few weeks ago, I called on one that I had seen online to inquire if it was available. Being from Arizona, Puente Hills location is about 330 miles from home. I don't mind. I was informed that the car was indeed on the way, but it was already sold. This was unfortunate, but Mr. Alvarez asked if I would like to be added to a list if anything changed. I agreed. Last weekend, 5/20/2023, I got a call from Janet who told me that the deal for the car had fallen through and that the car was now available if I was still interested. Not being able to believe my luck, as again, these cars, and specifically this set up (white/manual) are impossible to find anywhere, I called back immediately. I was then given over to Mr. Alvarez to start the deal over the phone. Again, I'm in Arizona. After putting the $2K down over the phone, and convincing my wife of how imperative it was for us to make the trip, like RIGHT NOW, we got in the car and drove the 5 1/2 hours to sign all the papers. The process was seamless as I didn't need to be sold or pressured. They had everything ready for me when we arrived. I really did just do a "sign then drive" type thing. Not only that, before I even made the trip, just to ensure I was getting a good deal, Mr. Alvarez even face timed me to show me the car, which was brand spanking new, 17 miles, on the showroom floor. After finishing the paperwork, I asked if I would be able to leave the car on the lot over night, since I didn't really want to drive it off after that long of a trip and I was a bit rusty at manual transmission, they agreed. I was just asked to come pick it up first thing the next morning. This is a TL;DR; scenario. But the point is that the folks at Puente Hills Hyundai, and specifically Mr. Ray Alvarez, did everything they could to make this car buy a smooth and painless as possible. Even to the point of accommodating me about leaving the car on the lot. There aren't an awful lot of business that will be so customer-friendly anymore these days, which is a shame. But it is sure nice when you happen to work with one of the few remaining. The simple fact that he called someone from out of town about a local deal speaks volumes. I cannot thank them enough. I am so happy with my purchase.
