Post-sale follow-up was terrible.

Post-sale follow-up was terrible. It took 6 weeks to get the paperwork for titling the vehicle. I called the salesman twice to follow-up on it. They forgot to send the vehicle and emissions inspection with the paperwork. I called to ask about the inspection and they said they could email the inspection to me... but, oops, the inspection had expired. I was told I could make an appointment to have another done. I said it wasn't convenient to go to Trenary - they are 35 minutes from my house. They said I could go to any dealer for an inspection. I asked, "Any Chevy dealer?" "No any dealer," was the response. "But will I have to pay for it?" I asked. They responded, "Yeah." Complete xx and terrible customer service.

Took my Camaro in for a simple LOF, and the service

Took my Camaro in for a simple LOF, and the service advisor Chris was rude from the start. He tried to upsell me on an engine induction service even though the car only has about 9,300 miles. Then he tried to pitch a “red dot” service he could not even explain. He just threw a price at me and wanted me to say yes. I have a maintenance plan that was sold by the dealership, but he said they do not handle that and that I would need to pay up front and get reimbursed later. It is funny how a dealership can sell you the plan but not support it. They did not top off the washer fluid, did not reset the oil life monitor, and overall it felt like they just wanted to get me in and out without doing the basics right. Poor communication, poor attitude, and poor attention to detail. Definitely not the kind of service I expected from a Chevrolet dealership.

THEE most helpful information I can provide someone in

THEE most helpful information I can provide someone in need of a vehicle, DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Poor communication, lack of professionalism and will leave a potential buyer feeling abandoned. I went to 3 dealerships in search for a car. 5 star just did have the newer vehicle I was looking for but they will make the appropriate effort to sell you a vehicle. Jim Trenary (got their business info in mail), ignored me for several days after submitting my information and treated me second rate after having to physical go there to demand answer. In short, someone tell Will and Ethan to go consult with Steve at LOU FUSZ CHEVY. Steve and Lou Fusz are the definition of excellence!!! Lou Fusz! Lou Fusz! Lou Fusz!

Rich, the finance guys, was very unprofessional.

Rich, the finance guys, was very unprofessional. We bought a brandnew car with 5 years/60k mile warrantee. He said that we had to buy an extended warrantee in order to get a loan from GM finance because we were first time buyer. We told him, this was our third car. So, how could it be the first? He was friendly before we told him we didn't need an extended warrantee. After we told him, his professionalism turned 180deg from friendly to completely xxxxxxx and rude.

PLEASE DO NOT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

PLEASE DO NOT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I purchased a used truck from them and purchased an extended warranty. 2 days before my warranty expired I started having transmission issues. 1 day before my warranty expired I called the dealership and informed them of the issues and the warranty expiring. They looked me up in their system and based off what their system said they told me the warranty went for 40000 more miles and 4 more years. Trusting them I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for 5 days later. I dropped the truck off the night before my appointment. The next day they called to inform me that I definitely needed a new transmission but they called the warranty co and the warranty co stated my warranty expired 6 days ago. They also gave me the quote for a new transmission which was $8500. I called them and stated that’s incorrect based on what they told me when I originally called in to report the issues. After a couple calls they called me back to inform me that They called GM and gm agreed to put up $1300 to the bill. Then the next day the dealer informed me it was more like $1000 since if GM was involved warranty pricing would take effect and the price of parts would go up. I called the warranty company several times and they stated I would have to work it out with the dealer. I asked the dealer to call the warranty company and figure it out. The dealer then called me back saying the warranty co was willing to put up about $2000 leaving me with about a $5200 bill. I asked to split that with the dealer but they said they were already giving $2000 because they own the warranty co. I then asked for refund of my warranty which was $2900. They said no to that. They also wanted to charge me $100 for diagnostics which I refused to pay. First of all be careful buying a GM 1500 truck. Lastly don’t do business with and Jim Trenary Dealership

The sales rep, Leslie, wasn't there to great us for our appointment. Instead, Brett was there to help. He was helpful. After looking at the vehicle, we discovered that the tail gate didn't work on the used suburban, and a couple of other less important items. We then sat down to discuss a deal, and Leslie finally appeared. She didn't greet us or introduce herself. Instead she just sat down, and then said that the used car manager isn't in, their is a line for finance, to sign a page that the items need to be fixed, and to come back Saturday, since she is off on Thursday and Jule 4th Friday they are closed. She didn't even ask us any questions! What works for you, when would you like the vehicle, does Saturday work, etc.? No questions at all! On top of that, she proceeded to say she has plans Thursday, it is her only day off. And where does the customer fit in? Nowhere! It was only when my wife asked 'then can we work with someone else?' She didn't even offer to ask someone to check or look for our needs! And worse still, she didn't even look at my wife the whole time, or address her!!! Total disrespect!!! We will NEVER buy or visit a Jim Trenary location EVER!
