Simply The Best

We have been buying our Subarus from Mike for years. Reasonable. Reliable. Trustworthy. We buy our fully refurbished Subarus from East Granby Motors at 100M and keep them until 200M or about 10 years. Safe, best for winter and rain (hydroplaning). Holds the road. Mike’s guarantee 1 yr vs 6 mo. Highly recommend.

Good reliable mechanics

Subaru isn’t the easiest car to find a mechanic. Subaru has issues with body deteriorating, bad head gaskets, and O2 sensors that require replacement every year if your state has emissions testing. This is a good dealership for getting quality work done. It may take a while, but from my five years dealing with them, they always fixed it where others couldn’t. Yes, it may take a while. But it’s worth the trouble. The owner doesn’t have much patience for people who expect the world of quality work for nothing. Respect him and he will return the favor. It’s not fast food. He runs a business, and you get in line for service. I have never not seen his shop busy. I have had to get a car rental while he worked on my car. Lease a new car if you don’t want to fix it.

Dishonest dealership

Had my car for 2 months supposenly waiting on a tyranny. Well after multiple calls and no results I took the car back , with now a broken door handle, dead battery and family of mice sitting and nesting about . Ugh not to mention all the money it cost for 2 months of transportation to get back and forth to work via taxi . He even told me he took car for a spin and it was okay. Really with a battery that would not even hold a charge. So no I wouldn't recommend this place mostly because of the dishonesty.

miracle worker

My muffler blew over the weekend. It was super loud and incredibly annoying. I could not stand the noise! I called first thing in the morning. Mike was gracious enough to squeeze my car in AND get me a new muffler all in the same day. What a difference! I so appreciate him.

I love East Granby Motors

Purchased my car from East Granby Motors several years ago. They do all of my repairs. I am impressed by the owner's honesty and hope to never have to go anywhere else. I know that he is super busy and there is a reason for that.

I have purchased my outback here at east granby I did all my research and had recommendations from people who have bought here,no problem to small to bring here to check out my first subie so had questions and concerns and was helped out,a year warranty and encouraged to bring and have any little problem checked,great service great warranty experienced staff highly recommended

Great Repair!

I was referred to Mike and his crew 7 years ago by a co-worker who raved about them. I have thanked him at least 20 times since. I was looking for an alternative to the dealer who constantly found a long list of repairs every time I went in, and often didn't fix the original problem. With East Granby Motors it has been just the opposite, often saving me substantial amounts of money and stress. I just wish they were closer to Northampton, but it is definitely worth the trip! Thanks for all your great work, Mel.

Great Repair!

I dont recommend this place!

Car has been at the shop for at least a month. Problems are getting worse and not better. Ignored my phone calls. Really disappointed. I had high hopes.

Buyer Beware

I purchased a Forester here. After the test drive I was told it would. Need tires and a wheel bearing replaced. The counsel had some burn marks and the CD player didn't work. A couple days later I picked it up. The radio wasn't replaced or the counsel piece either. I was told they ordered a new radio/CD unit and it would be about a week. During the first week the brakes were squeaking. So I went in and left it with them. I picked up and still no radio . when I mentioned it they acted like they didn't know I was talking about. Fast forward about 6 months my check engine light came on. I brought it back and they had it about 4 days. They replaced the catalytic converter. When I got home I noticed the exhaust was getting louder. They forgot to put a bolt between the center pipe and muffler. Shoddy work and dishonest .

HORRIBLE

worst group of workers. They sell lemon cars and do not corporate well with their customers. Hard to get a hold of and never call back. They've had my car for 3 weeks on one occasion and recently have had my car for over a week and haven't even looked at my car. They told me they didn't know I had a life and needed my car that badly???? LIKE xxx??? EXCUSE ME!!
