It was time for a safer, more reliable car, and I

It was time for a safer, more reliable car, and I couldn't be happier with the team at Thrifty Car Sales in Westfield, MA for their excellent above and beyond service. Seriously, if you're in the Northeast, and need a car, they treat you like family. I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Tucson all before work at 11. They had me in and out in an hour and a half, and even came in early before they opened to help me out! You will not be disappointed with Mike and his team!

They are friendly and very easy to work with.

They are friendly and very easy to work with. Mike was understanding of my situation and not pushy on getting the sale. I highly recommend working with him if you need a vehicle. Even with low credit score I walked out of there same day with my new car.

Went looking for a truck on a Friday, left with a truck

Went looking for a truck on a Friday, left with a truck on that same Friday! Simple, easy, and quick. Worked with Mike on getting a truck and left with it the same day, would recommend, I don’t often do that lightly.

I noticed how all the reviews on this page; are positive

I noticed how all the reviews on this page; are positive ones….well it shouldn’t be that way! You should never buy a rental car! I got screwed…. Out of my pocket $4000 I had to pay to get my vehicle fixed…. Something Dave should have stood by his word but he lies, and he lied to the Attorney General’s office?

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one due to Thrifty's impeccable service and honest salespeople. Here is my story, buckle in - it's a long one! Last summer (2023) I traded in the car I bought from Thrifty 4 years ago. Mind you, I was very happy with it and was hesitant about trading it in. Mike D. called me and asked if I had considered trading my car in. I figured, what the xxxx, it can't hurt to take a look. I went there after work and I told Mike what I wanted in a car. I wasn't interested in a truck or an SUV, so he showed me what they had. Nothing was really captured my interest, so I was about to leave when I spotted my next car out back. Thrifty had just received it and it wasn't ready to go out on the show lot. I was in love! So, I inquired about it. Mike then asked Bruce about selling it to me, and a deal was made. My other car wasn't paid off yet but Thrifty gave me more than the payoff and more than I expected. I even got my financing through the same credit union as my old car. Mike put me in the car that night and told me to come back the next day so they could detail it. I did and they did. All good, so far right? About a month later, I got a warning light and much to my dismay, the car ran out of oil. I was very fortunate that the engine didn't blow. I bought oil and took it in to Thrifty, and they immediately gave me a loaner and took it to a car brand dealership to be looked at. No one could find anything wrong. Weird. Anyway, a month later, this happens again. Thrifty this time towed it because they wanted to take it to the car brand dealership to have it looked at without oil. Come to find out, it wound up being a problem with the engine. The car brand dealership decided that the factory warranty was void because the previous dealership closed, and no one could find any records. Dave, the owner, offered to either buy back the car or put a new engine in and offered me a better warranty than their original one. I had a tough decision to make. Thrifty gave me a loaner, which I really loved and had that car been on the lot, I would have purchased it instead. I drove it for a month while my car was being fixed. Dave gave me another month with my car after the new engine in installed to decide if I wanted to keep it or have him buy it back. In the end, I decided to keep my car. All seemed well, right? NOPE! My dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and then my car would not start! I called Thrifty and Mike brought me another loaner and jumped my car and had their mechanic look at it. A few weeks later, I went to Dunkin before work and when I came out, my car wouldn't start. I called Dave crying and he sent Bruce to pick me up and take me to work. The battery was the issue this time and Thrifty replaced it. Now during all this, Thrifty had my oil changed and they detailed and washed my car each time. And there were other small glitches that Thrifty took care of. Dave, Mike, and Bruce have endured my temper, emotional phone calls, and endless texts. These guys, especially Dave, have gone above and beyond any dealership I have ever dealt with. They were kind, caring, professional, understanding, and very accommodating. I will forever buy cars from Mike as long as Dave owns it and Mike is a great salesman! Keep in mind, those of you who would say they sold me a piece of xxxx lemon, that what happened with my car was NOT their fault. xxxx happens. Factory defects happen. It boils down to how it's all handled and these guys handled it amazingly well! It has been 9 months since anything has gone wrong (knock on wood), but I know if anything did, Dave, Mike, and Bruce would do everything in their power to make it right. You just don't see this kind of service and devotion anywhere else. I would give 10 stars if I could! Now, I just stop in from time to time just to say hello! Love you guys and TY for everything! ~R <3
