V ery easy experience buying a new car.

V ery easy experience buying a new car. No dealer add ons were forced on us, which was a bonus. It was a pleasant process dealing with Chris Hawkins as our sales consultant to purchase a new Armada. We’ve been to another Nissan dealer and had a less than optimal time negotiating a purchase with them. This dealer was great to work with!

I had a terrible experience purchasing a 2022 4Runner.

I had a terrible experience purchasing a 2022 4Runner. Sales persons Erik and Marco were just fine. Good customer service. Where I am giving it a one star is because of loan officer Ricky Walter. I came in with a pre-approved loan from my credit union. My credit union loan officer even communicated with Ricky to let him know my interest rate, loan terms, and that I was pre-approved. Everything ready to go. Ricky made me sign a blank iPad monitor and told me not to worry when I asked him what I was signing, that everything that was discussed would be printed for me. After 3 hours, when time came for me to take possession of the car, Ricky printed loan docs, where my signature was inserted electronically at pertaining purchase contract paragraph with me accepting loan terms at a higher rate. When I brought this up to him, he said not to worry that the difference in monthly payments between lower interest rate from my credit union and this higher one he printed, were $3 or $4 per month. He even showed me this on his computer by swapping interest rates between higher and lower and somehow it did show a difference of $4 or so. I was tired of waiting and wanted the vehicle so I accepted it and drove home with my new vehicle. It turns out that the difference in interest payments for the first yr alone is approx. $378 higher (about $31 per month) than I would’ve gotten if he would’ve used my credit union. Also, upon further review of the purchase contract, Ricky fraudulently snuck in $425 for “Other Charges”. Now I have to refinance my loan and fight for them to take off those fraudulent $425 for “other charges”, 2 days later. Be careful when you deal with Ricky Walter. I am sure this is standard operating procedures for Keating Nissan management.

This stealership is not honest like everyone said.

This stealership is not honest like everyone said. Despite their new advertisement about no addons, which is a lie. Keating Nissan baked the addons into the mandatory non-negotiable price. According to carfax they stated their did alignment but the vehicle steering still pointed few degrees left! They are bunch of crooks and liars. Cannot recommend people to buy from them!

While working numbers on a car deal, the dealership was

While working numbers on a car deal, the dealership was doing my appraisal of my car. They broke my panoramic sunroof on my car. They said they couldn’t fix it and I should basically either buy the car or leave with my damaged one. Refused to make the situation right. So now I have to pay to get my car fixed. Went in to buy a new car and left with a broken sunroof that will not close. HORRIBLE customer service. Manager didn’t even apologize. Loved the car but they won’t see a dime of my money.

The sales process was about what you would expect.

The sales process was about what you would expect. We bought a used Nissan Frontier Pro4x with 8000 miles. We requested an out of door price over the phone, which changed when we got there. We did eventually get them to honor it, so I would give the sales department 3 stars, maybe 4 stars. The finance department was very fair and did not try to push anything on us we did not want. We only did the bare minumum and he honored our intentions. The 2 stars is how horribly we were treated by the service department and its manager named Taylor. We bought a bed cover from them. It arrived and no one contacted us for over a week after it arrived. Then when we tried to schedule the work, we were further delayed because Taylor was on vacation. I questioned that no service appointments could be made because one guy is out of office? I was told this by our sales person repeatedly. I don't know if this is true or we were lied to. But either way, it is poor service model. We finally got the appointment scheduled for a Saturday as we live 2 hours away and confirmed the appointment prior to driving down. We arrived and NO ONE knew anything about the appointment. The service manager Taylor does not work Saturdays and was not there to clean up the mess. There was a very nice woman in the service department who eventually located the right personnel to do the job and she salvaged our trip down. So we are very grateful to her. Gut something is very broken with the service department and a car dealership that tolerates his practices. I would buy another car from them, but I would never buy a warranty or anything involving service as long as this service manager is there.

Do NOT any the extended warranty from Keating Smith in

Do NOT any the extended warranty from Keating Smith in CONROE. This is the third car I have bought from Keating. Two were from Streater Smith Honda before they sold. As I am getting older, I am ashamed to say that I bought the finance spiel that the extended warranty would give us bumper to bumper coverage! It does not!! You can not trust this dealership. My driver side window will not roll up In cold weather. I am now told it is not covered because it is a piece of plastic impeding the window raising not a mechanical issue. $388 quote. What is worse is my car began smoking after routine oil changes. 76,000 miles of a 100,000 mile warranty. The car has been with them for a week, and they are trying to prevent covering the engine damage even though we produced receipts of the maintenance. I am a teacher and I am out a car or thousands of dollars of repair! I will never do business with this dealership again. But whatever you choose, do not rely on their salesman pitch of extended warranty! They don’t cover anything!

Above and Beyond

Becky was great! She kept me informed throughout the whole process each day with an update from diagnostics, to part ordering, part delivery, and an ETA of when my truck would be finished. Her and the Service Center Team really went above and beyond for me, and in the end helped me out more than I could ever ask for. Keating Nissan has a new customer for life. Thank you Becky and team!

So Many Lies

Wish I has read these reviews before I went to Keaton Nissan. So many lies, bait and switch and fraudulent contracts. On line price is not the price. $43,250 on line. After Apex, Maintenance and Debt Cancelation plans add on', rose to over $70,000. xxx...I had a hard time canceling the add on's, dealership refused to return emails or phone messages. Even wanted me not to write a bad review. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from this dealership. DO NOT GO TO Keaton Nissan

head gasket blew in less than a year/6k miles.

ZERO STARS! Bought a 2012 jeep wrangler with 76k on 08/12/2022. Blew head gasket at 81k on 07/21/203. They told me I had everything cover when I bought it. Turns out I don't and they told me that sucks. Tried to talk to my finance officer and they told me "Fortunately, unfortunately he no longer works here".

Joshua, Upon further review I was able to pull up your purchase from last year. It appears you signed an as is which means anything that anything that goes wrong it is up to you as buyer to fix. Typically, with cars that are older there isn't always a coverage we can offer. It appears you did buy a tire warranty that covers up to 120k. If you believe there is an issue and would like to review your paperwork, I can ask one of my finance managers to get it over to you via email. If you still have questions on paperwork, Mr.Garry Weaver doesn't work here anymore, but I am sure we can get you in to talk with someone else. Please send an email to our customer service manager at mweaver@keatingnissan.com, I will be happy to provide you with that information.

Sucks. Only my opinion! Judge for yourself!

So glad to hear from others. They sold me a 2023 rogue. Minute I drove onto the feeder it would not go over 4 to 5 miles. I flipped into the next entrance and complained. Salesman drove said it was good. Should have taken to repair. I trusted him when he drove the car and said it’s okay. Again same thing happened. Lost my car for weeks plus double jeopardy for their rental (under warranty) but responsible if in accident must pay for days to repair car. I didn’t get paid for down days for repair! My insurance would pay for repairs not down days. I did not get paid for down days. Next I get it back with mud cracked in my wheel wells. Charged for chrome and glass repair. Even the car wash could not get rid of all the mud. I questioned got no answer. Car had 533 miles never in an accident. Next I drive home; car doesn’t sound right. I take to another dealership and now again without car. Engine has to be replaced. Motor mount not stable. Don’t know all the rest yet. That is how they gave me a new car. I will never, never buy from them and now question Nissan. Three times my life was put in jeopardy. I am thinking of going to the news media with all my paperwork. Disgusted! Was I angry yes! Was I nice, no! Asked for a full buy back! Yes! Did I cuss, No! I was told you only get this because it’s been titled. Used vehicle. 533 miles. The car had 23 miles when I purchased. Next the paperwork was fudged. Stated at 45 mph. Totally wrong! 4 to 5 mph. Demanded correction. Got it with huffing. When I had the same problem again; they told me to call my insurance for the tow. I said no, under warrenty. You pay! They only gave me a phone number and did nothing else. My opinion and only my opinion I would never deal with them again. The rest of you people decide if you would deal with them. Last comment when I spoke with the manager he told me he is only a middle man. I am only I felt he kissed me off.
