I have been using the service department since I moved here 4 1/2 years ago. I have always felt that the service department was fair and honest with me. My last service visit resulted in my decision to finally trade in my Jetta. Too much money for an old car. Tumpie was great as a sales rep. Took the time to show me all available used cars he thought I would be interested in. Jessie worked with me to get the payments where I needed them to be. Great dealer - fair, honest, professional

Tumpie was great, he explained everything about the TDI to me without a thought. He knew all about every car I ask him about and listen to what I really wanted. I drove out with the car that will last me for years to come.

This is the third car I've bought from Stokes. Every experience has been smooth, efficient, and professional. The entire staff is excellent, but most of my interaction has been with Clarence Nelson. I will continue to buy cars there, and will continue to refer friends there.

Jason and Jesse both did what they had to do to get me into the car I wanted. Jason picked a winner on the first shot and Jesse got me to the price I was looking for. After I had the car, I found out that the radio was not working 100%, and Jason had me in and out with the problem fixed in less than 15 minutes. Jesse explained everything and detail and was able to answer all of my questions. The only two extremely minor problems were with the detail when I picked up the car, which was sloppy, and floor mats that came with the car (they were in the trunk and we didn't really look at them before delivery) were missing the drivers front one. Jason, Jesse, and their GM Travis went the extra mile to insure that this was fixed. I have no problem recommending them to any of my family, friends, or business associates. Luckily they have a large dealer network, and my girlfriend will (most likely) be buying her car shortly from the great team at Stokes VW.

I have been taking my TDI to stokes for service for a few years, the prices are way better than lowcountry VW and German autocare of summerville. They have gone above and beyond in the past to fix problems that they themselves created. Twice they screwed up my car and had to pay for repairs but were always willing to do so. They are fast too. The only thing is they do not clean my car during a service visit like many other dealers do. And when they do claim to have washed the car you can barely tell, looks more like a rinse down than a wash. I also really like their parts department. They are knowledgeable and friendly. I have been in VWs for 8 years and always get dealer service, and most dealer's parts department don't know their head from a hole in the ground. I recommend them to anyone who needs dealer service. They will stamp your maintenance book and offer competitive pricing, bottom line, best option in the lowcountry.
